It was an old post ... but did you win the challenge at work?
I clicked on your page and see that you say, "I would really like to see myself at my 130lb. weight as I was when I met my spouse." But your meter shows you are at 117 pounds...is that right? If so, Amazing. Time to update your page. :)

Congrats.

Put everything you eat in the Nutrition Tracker. It is an invaluable tool! Try to stay in the middle of your calorie range. If you stay at the bottom, you'll find it's harder to lose weight. Use the Exercise Tracker, too. Those 2 tools will lead you to success along with all of the articles and exercise videos. Be sure to participate on the Message Boards and join some teams that interest you. There is a lot of information on this site that will help you be successful not only in your contest but afterwards as well. Good luck on your challenge! Let us know how you're doing!

Check out the tools available to you under "My Tools" I use the calorie differential report to keep me on track. You can still eat your chocolate and be fit. You will have to do exercise but you can make it fun.

I just talked my best friend into joining Spark People and she is a chocolate lover also. She now sits on her recumbent bike and reads instead of just sitting. She also uses the calorie differential report to keep her on track. If you track your nutrition you really get an eye opener.

Don't let dark and gloomy stop you from using the treadmill. I listen to music while I do my elliptical and it really goes by fast.

Hi, I've just started a "biggest loser" weight loss challenge at work on April 1. I weighed in that day and then travelled out of town for the weekend for Easter to visit the in-laws. I totally blew my first 7 days, with eating out, eating lots of junk food, and no exercise...except for 2 hours in the mall...if that counts. LOL I only have (3) three months to become the biggest loser. Any pointers? I love my chocolate and am not fond of exercise, lack motivation...especially when its a dark and gloomy day outside. I do own a treadmill.
