Welcome, BD. I think you'll find this a very workable system. It can take some adjusting to get to weight loss, and often isn't very fast, but if you do it right, weight lost is likely to stay gone because you aren't doing anything heroic to get it. (Otherwise, you'll just be waiting for it to be over.) Feel free to come ask us anything on the How are you doing? thread.

I joined the team a couple weeks ago then had my life take an unexpected left turn. The "No S Diet" book has proven to be good nighttime reading during this time. Very simple plot and not a lot of suspense. Calming really.

I'm ready for the No S diet. I have another 20 pounds to make my goal weight and this is a good time to develop a sustainable relationship with food and meals and snacks and sweets. It's a very good time to start maintenance.
