Hope this is the new twist on your already-healthy eating to get you where you want. The “How are you doing?” thread is probably the best place for just about any further posts. We’re a teeny team, so consolidation helps. Reinhard’s book was my bible for years. Feel free to share any quotes you like. I love reminders.

One question I will ask here is what do you think you have been overeating? I had gotten to the point at which I eat pretty healthy meals, so to speak, but then I would binge on or at least compulsively over eat mostly sweet refined foods. I still do, sometimes. My weight loss happened in fits and starts over a period of years as my S days smoothed out. I had a lot more to lose than you do.

I'm Paula a soon to be 53 year old who is happily married with 2 adult children. I live in Brisbane Australia.

I suffer from Osteoarthritis in both hips which I was told needed 2 hip replacements urgently by specialist's 7 years ago. Something I don't want to do. (you can't put your own joints back in once you have had them replaced or grow your own cartilage back either) So I've been managing it mostly pain free naturally ever since with natural supplements and orthotic shoes and innersoles.

I currently wiegh-in at 57.8kg 8 and have always eaten relatively healthy but was looking for something easy to stick to that would help me eat less. If I could loose a few kg and get down to 52 kg that would be an awesome side benefit.

We grow some of our own produce in our garden out the back and we prefer to eat all organic where possible. We also have a reverse osmosis water filter for cooking and drinking that water. I do my best to try and eat plant based when I can with the occasional bit of beef, chicken or fish.

Thanks again for letting me join this team.

Keep smiling
