Welcome, Regina! The book and the original site were my lifeboats when I first began and for a long time afterward. Hope to see you on the main forum.

Hello. I am Regina.

i just bought the book this morning (Sunday 2/16). I am going to start reading it today. I found the group here and was reading some posts then went to check the web site out. I never heard if the No S Diet before this group. Willing to give it a try.

I just started trying acupuncture to balance my hormones and for weight reduction. Saturday (2/15) was only my second session. I go once a week. I am going to incorporate these two methods and see what happens.

Welcome!

I hope you'll consider coming to the How are you doing? thread. It's small but Gill and I have years of experience with No S. Some things we are still fine tuning, but it's been foundational for both of us. You are of course free to incorporate other plans. In terms of eating after exercise, it's common for people to start off allowing for more meals, but honestly, most find after awhile that they really don't need them. Much of our eating has been habit, not need. Plus the body can start getting better at accessing the fat, which is what we want! And we can get better at living with a reasonable amount of hunger. All slim societies expect hunger before meals.

I've gone on too long. One of my habits!

So nice to meet you! No S cannot defy the laws of physics but it can be enjoyable way to feed yourself and keep adjusting the plates for the effect you want. Feel free to start any threads with a focus , but do go on the "How are you doing?" thread to let others know. Since the team is tiny some members do not get notices about new threads, and someone may be up for a streak thread or whatever you propose.

Hi. I joined this team a while ago but this is my first time posting. I have been on SP for several years. I had good success for 30 lbs. but then started losing and gaining 10 of it. I am now back to 29 lost and am determined to get to a lower BMI by the end of the year! I am familiar with the No S diet but have never really used it. I looked over the team threads and would like to set up a calendar and also do a 21 day challenge. starting Monday. Looking forward to getting to know each of you! Sharon
