Hi. My name is Faye. I live in Prosper, just north of Frisco and McKinney. I am a 72 year old great grandmother who lives with my son and his family of a wife and two teen sons. I am chief cook as I enjoy watching everyone eat when they get home after their busy day.

I need to lose 10 pounds gained over the years. I love walking but have been very lazy this year. I do pilates and some weights but I also love baking for family and friends. Of course that requires a lot of taste testing. I am rather fit (did 45 pushups in 45 seconds but was winded). My metabolism is at a virtual crawl at this age. I would much rather work out at home than go to a gym.

I have been a Spark member for a few years but haven't been consistent. I am now borderline diabetic and am not interested in taking medication for it. I am hoping to motivate myself enough to lose the weight and decrease the risk of diabetes. And just maybe train for a 5k this year. Last Hurrah!!
