Hi everyone, I am Deanna and have been struggling with the ups and downs of my weight loss for more than 10+ years now. I really want to be able to lose the extra 100 lbs my body is carrying around by new year of 2011 and so I feel that this boot camp will give me the inspiration I need (and the motivation of others will keep me going)I set up a small goal of losing 24 lbs by April of 2010 - and this challenge will definitely help me out! Can't wait to get started.

Hi, I'm Jenny. I've been on Spark for quite awhile but have had trouble committing to a workout program. Excuses excuses no more! The bootcamp is almost exactly the same goal hubby and I have for January so it works perfectly for us. We may not use all the videos and whatnot, but finding a group all with the same goal is great!

Wow, this bootcamp is already huge, and we still have days before it starts.

I am Robin. I am 34 and a homeschooling mom in the desert Southwest. I always had a little trouble with my weight, but it was during each of my 5 pregnancies that I really packed it on. I now have well over 100 to loose, and am convinced that SparkPeople is the best way for me to go about doing it. I NEED support, because I have started some fitness or weight loss program time and time again only to fall off the wagon after a week or month into it. The result each time is that within just a few months I end up HEAVIER than when I started, which is very, very unmotivating to say the least.

Anyway, I pre-ordered the book and am waiting for it to arrive (tracking says it's coming tomorrow), I've signed up and am committed to the bootcamp, I'm jumping into the message boards, and am otherwise doing what I can to ensure I stick to it. Hello, everyone.

Hello, My name is Heather. I have been a member of Spark for about a year. I had lost 10 pounds but gained most of it back. My goal is at least 30 pounds.
I am training for a triathlon that will be in March. So that and this program is helping me in my motivation to loose the weight and keep it off!

Hi my name is Donna and I have been with Spark since May 2009. I love being sparked. I have joined several teams and have joined 2 challenges to keep myself accountable, one I am presently doing and leader of. I have lost 50 + pounds since January 2009 and need to lose around 35 + to be at my goal weight. I want to be able to keep it off for the rest of my life. I love the way I feel and am excited about losing the rest and maintaining it. I am able to run now with my son. I am excited about starting Body bootcamp.
I am a 52 year old nana of 3 teenage grandchildren and mother of 2 who recently adopted a boy who had health issues at birth. I want to be able to be active with him. When I go to the park or in my neighbors driveway for my walk he goes with me either in his stroller or on his 3 wheel trikye. I want to eventually start a exercise class for stroller moms. This is having your baby with you while you are exercising and incorporating the stroller into the class.

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.

I've been on SP for a little over a year now. I do real good for awhile then I slack off--just seems like I'm back & forth all the time..well, it's time to quit doing that & lose this weight for good!!

Time to get back on track. I usually slack off between Halloween and New Years. Not sure what the damage is this year. I need to do a weigh-in. I'm sick at the moment so hoping I will be better by the 3rd when the bootcamp starts. I am 28 years old, married with 2 kids, stay at home (homeschooling) mom, 5'4" with about30-40lbs to lose. I have been messing around on SparkPeople though inconsistently and lost 7 pounds. I have another 40 I must lose and 50 I would like to lose. I would love to learn how to post one of those goal measuring tapes with my weight on it. I have also been looking to participate as a team, but haven't quite found the right start. I am 39 years old and by my 40th birthday in June I want to reach my goal -- realistically this is a safe 2 pound loss per week -- I would love to be in a swimsuit by then. I have a 5 1/2 year old son and have been married for 11 years this June . . . together 15 in September. We own a bearded dragon lizard as a pet. And I love to write.

Oh and I am healing disordered eating behavior.

Hi - I've been hanging around the fringes of SparkPeople since 2008. I have lost about 30 pounds but it has been very slow going. I joined T.O.P.S. (Take off pounds sensibly) several months ago in an effort to hold myself accountable. My eating habits are improving but my exercise level not so much. I'm hoping that bootcamp will be the spark that I need to get moving again.

Me? - 48 years old, divorced with 2 young adult children and 1 teenager (in college). Currently living with 1 dog & 1 kitten in snowy upstate NY on the shores of Lake Ontario.
