I eat lots of fruit everyday, and a small green smoothie (I'm working my way to bigger smoothies)

Some times I will have cereal (cereal with low sugar and whole grains) with almond milk

or whole grain toast with peanut butter some time jelly (no sugar type)

or overnight oats (oats that have been soaked overnight) with lots of stuff in it (I"m not to fond of oatmeal so I add lots of stuff)

but I always have fruit

I would check out books from the library then if you like it you can buy them, but walmart.com has some of these books at a great price (I was shocked )

There are several movies about plant based diets too. Forks over Knives is one

Read the books:

Eat to Live by Joel Furhman ( this is the one I follow most)

Engine 2 Diet by Rip Esselstyn (his dad has a book but I can't find it right now)

The McDougall Program (he also has a cookbook)

Forks over Knifes The Plant-Based way to Health (Book, There is also a movie)

There are many other books and websites.

i have check most of these books at the library.


Eat lots of fruits, veggies, beans, whole grains, some nuts, seeds, ect. Don't look at all the foods you can't eat (that are killing you any ways) look ate all the foods you can eat.

I have some recipes that you can try out on my blog.


Good luck and you can do it. Just ask any questions.


Oh some ideas to get started with:

Don't add meat to anything. like make bean tacos instead of meat, make tomato based sauce for spaghetti add some brocoli and other veggies and you will see ideas on my blog. Hey I can't cook so what I make is easy and you can change the ingredents as you what to.

Hello everyone I went to the doctor today and he wants me to be on a vegan diet. Know nothing about it so I need some help. How can I get started?
