I didn't realize when I joined this team that losing weight slowly was on purpose...I thought I was the only one! haha I started teaching 7 years ago and I gained 5 lbs every year since then. Trust me elementary school is a haven for parties and cupcakes! Last year, feeling very grim and planning a trip to Hawaii in July my husband and I joined the YMCA and Sparkpeople! I lost 25 pounds and was feeling human. We had a wonderful trip with 25 family members, lots of food and BEER for 2 full weeks! Came home started back to school, didn't stop eating and before we knew it the holidays were here, etc... managed to gain back 15 pounds, uggg. The good news is I never did stop exercising but it it hard to regain my balance again with portion control and "see" food eating. I exercise in the morning but I am so hungry all day and when I am full, I am craving sweets! I am trying to stay motivated but after 3 weeks of eating well and exercising I lost 1.5 pounds, I fell off the wagon for 2 weeks. I am here for some support and hopefully weight LOSS!
