That's quite an ordeal! I can't imagine having to revisit it all with a re-do of construction! I hope that's going smoothly!

Hello! I’m Trin, I live in Missoula MT & am a BC survivor. I am beginning a re-do of my reconstruction, I had my horrible (& recalled) implants removed & new tissue expanders placed on Oct 7th in Seattle WA.
I’m 49, a divorced mom of 2 grown kids, I have an amazing 6 year old grandson and 4 extra grandson’s from my ex-husband.
I was really getting healthy prior to my diagnosis, taking a great supplement, walking or biking everyday, doing challenges at home everyday - like the squat challenge, eating healthy and the scale was going down and down. Then I started feeling crappy, tired & not able to meet my goals. I was diagnosed with IDC & BRCA1, bilateral mastectomy, 5 months chemo, delayed reconstruction after a hysterectomy & 50+ pounds & 8 surgeries later.... here I am.
Looking forward to meeting you all!!

Hi this is Lynn. I live in Vancouver, Canada.

I had a mastectomy over a year ago. I had an expander put in and then went to for doctor's appointment to get it filled. I was supposed to get an implant in October but didn't want it yet. I want to get down to my goal weight before that. I figured out after reconstructive surgery if I gained or lost weight only the natural breast would change in size.

I have since started a medical weight loss program that seems to be helping. I have lost 25 pounds in the last year, still more to go, but I am happy with the progress.

2 random fun facts about you? I am getting a puppy this fall. She is not even conceived yet, but I picked out her name - Rebel. My dogs have always been a little spoiled, so I expect she will be a little rebel. I had a laugh when my friend asked me how I already know my future puppy's name.

Summers we are nomads with an entourage of kids, traveling around and having a great time. I hate to unpack my suitcases when I get home - maybe it's because I love to travel.
