Sounds to me you know exactly what you need to do. Nutrition, nutritioin, nutrition!! That is always the first focus. Exercise makes it easier and allows for more meal misses.

You can do this, while the last 15 are harder for most individuals, the strategy is always the same. Take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one bite at a time.

Track everything you eat and I'll bet you will find out real quick what is causing you your greif.

Good luck, glad you are here.

I am 49 years old and over the past 5 to 10 years, I have put on 15 pounds that all seem to be around my waist. I used to be able to feel like I was staying fit just by what I did for fun and I never paid attention to what I eat. Now, I have this extra weight that bothers me and I can't seem to lose it! I think that because I have always been pretty active and because I didn't have to pay attention to what I eat, that I have learned unhealthy eating habits and do not know enough about nutrition. i just want to lose this weight but to change to a lifestyle that will help me to keep it off!!
