Yes, that is correct. I do it a lot, cook from frozen. The only thing I do differently is add anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to the cooking time to make sure it is thoroughly cooked....

Marge, I am not a great cook, but I have been told -- and it has worked the time I tried it -- that the food doesn't have to be thawed before putting it in the crockpot.

Hi. My name is Marge and am 63 yr. old and am fairly new to this group. I love to cook and want to use my crockpot more often. I have a few favorite recipes I do in the crockpot, but really want to use it more. My biggest problem is forgetting to pull out something from the freezer the day before, so it is thawed for the crockpot. Look forward to sharing recipes and ideas with everyone.
