I'm still here. I've lost 17lbs so far.

The hardest thing for me has been the exercise and changing some bad eating habits.

But the best thing that has happened for me is I joined a SparkPeople 5% Summer Challenge which has helped me because you work on a team to reach a virtual destination by earning 1 air miles per 1 minute of exercise, plus some Living the Good Life (LTGL) points also, example, drink 8 glass of water per day, track what you eat, etc. I've also been able to meet others on sparkpeople that are on my team. I may fail sometimes, but I will keep at it and I'm glad I found the SparkPeople site.

Just a quick one to figure out how many people who started in this team are still here. Also! Post your results! How much have you lost? What's the hardest thing for you? What's the best thing from this?

Wednesday will be week #17 for me with a total loss of 18lbs so far!

Hardest thing for me is definitely finding time to get in that exercise. Days off it's so easy but after work sometimes you just don't feel it. But I have a schedule, and a reward scheme. I also have a fitbit to help me record if I need to do more steps or minutes in my day. So far so good!

Best thing has to be how I feel about myself now. I don't think I look like I've lost any weight, but apparently I do. I can run over 1k now and when I started I couldn't run 100 metres. I wear shorts OUTSIDE! Because I can. I love coming home and cooking and really enjoy fruits and veggies. I have two pieces of gym equipment at home which I love and am hoping to start swimming again which I haven't done since high school.
