Hi! I just read Plant Paradox and Diet Evolution by Dr. Gundry.

I have plenty of body pain and fatigue. I am now 71. All my life same story--no energy.

This eating plan seems pretty drastic! No white foods. Careful with beige foods.

3 day cleanse then at least 2 weeks on a very strict program --protein and certain veggies.

I have to be diligent about caring for myself. 100 DAYS OF WEIGHT LOSS is a great way for me to keep focused. Day 1 is July 1, 2017. Build habits to produce success. Most of these habits I have at least tried before but did not sustain. First habit: delay eating by using a timer.

Oh! BEWARE using Walnuts! Soy- the nuts included!
You may or may not know- they inhibit med's absorption for Thyroid! Also, if the nuts are Roasted &/or Salted- risking Gout! my husband downed them for his Snacks for a month & ended up in hospital with it! If you have any history of Gall Stone-Kidney Stones? in you or your family? You may want to limit it to VERY little use.

Atkins allows Nuts? So what's the dif?

Hi, tami.....actually it is kind of Atkins but you can have nuts as your 2 snacks and after the 2 weeks you can have fruit added back in .....I really like it, but not too many people have heard of it....It is great for thyroid eating as well...It is kind of going back to the eating by our ancestors....Nothing packaged or processed....I have lost inches I can't believe and I am only 2 days into my second week.....Not hungry either.....He uses stuff I never heard of before and I was hoping that other people would be doing it too....The book is called dr gundry diet evolution,........Thanks for your interest.....Lois

i just googled him last night and according to barnes and noble his book just came out on 6/7. I think he is a cardiac surgeon. it sounds intersting.

hello, I'm new ..I don't have a thyroid problem that I know of but noticed one of your group says she is dieting to the dr gundry diet evolution, as I am, and was wondering how it has been for her...I have been on it a week and I see such differences so far, for the better....Would love to talk to someone about the diet.....thanks
