congrats on getting 1/2 way through! I tend to do the treadmill when I'm feeling unmotivated too. The TV is a great distraction from watching the time tick off.

I've honestly thought about getting an iTouch just because of that app. I love my little Sansa MP3 player, but it would be awesome to have C25K programs with my own music.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! I'm really nervous about tomorrow (W5D1) because I'm still having a bit of trouble with the 5 minute runs. But gotta keep pushing!

I also forgot to recommend the C25K iPhone/iPod Touch app. It helps keep track of your runs and walks, and gives you a warning when you're halfway done and/or when you have a minute left of your run... It's not only a great tool for keeping track of the program, but it's also great for motivation and pushing yourself! Just when you're tired and about to give up on your run, it'll chime "1 minute remaining!" and you can give yourself that final push to finish the run. Since it's an app, you can also play your own music to help alleviate any boredom!

Welcome to the team! Sounds like you are doing GREAT! I like to mix up my workouts in the same way so sometimes I can get my TV, sometimes I can get the practice at road running (training for my 5K races!) and people/scenery watching. Good luck with the rest of the program.

Hello! I'm new to this team but I just finished Week 4 Day 3 yesterday, so I guess I am almost halfway done with the c25k!

Yesterday I wasn't feeling my best, but I'm glad I pushed myself to get on the treadmill and run the program. I don't always use a treadmill, sometimes I use the track in the gym, or sometimes I go to the park and do it. It all depends on my mood, and I have to keep switching it up otherwise I'll get bored. The treadmill is reserved for days I feel especially bored, since each treadmill at my gym has a TV so I can watch something to keep my legs distracted from the thought of running :)

I'm excited to be a part of this team. Hopefully it will be another reason for me to stay motivated. :)
