Welcome!! Just remember to wear proper foot gear (if you haven't, you should be talking to your foot doc and getting fitted for shoes at a running specialty store) and to listen to your body. Go as slow as you need to...many of us started out at what couldn't even be termed as "jogging"...I like to call it a "wog" (walk/jog combo)! My sister's running pace at the beginning was actually slower than her walking pace...but the point is to build the endurance.

Hi, My name is Lali and I'm knew to this great group! I'm recovering from foot surgery from an old injury and am now moving at a slow "hobble". Max time has been 15 minutes at a time.
