Hi happy birthday!

I just did my week 1 day 1 workout thus morning. I actually joined this group several years ago but never started the program! So today i started. I needed to rev up my workout routine!

I started C25K last week and have completed week 1. Yeah! Anyway, I found out I needed to go & buy new shoes! I just got back and can't wait to see how they change things tomorrow. I was having some pretty strong calf pain.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to you tomorrow! And, I wish you all the best as you start this new journey!

So today I did my first Cto5K workout on the treadmill following the podcost. I loved it! Even though I was not perfect I can already tell that this is going to be the start of the a great journey.

I read a lot of advise before starting and really listened to my body. I did the first two jogging intervals and then the last two I needed to split them in half (1 minute jog/run and the 2nd minute slowed the pace to a faster walk than the rest/recovery period). I can't wait to see how the next workout goes and am sure that I will be able to do at least 3 intervals if not all 4 for the full time of each interval.

I'm turning 35 tomorrow and taking on this challenge is an important step in taking back my life!
