Thanks for the advice, Lightning! Yeah, I was thinking it might be too much to go for. I want to see where I'm at in my training by January. If anything, I'll shoot for a 10K! emoticon

Welcome....Not to discourage you, but they really suggest to make injury less likely that you have a lot of miles under your belt before attempting a half. I take it you are thinking of the ING half. I was too, but I am pushing off until 1 month later and will do the Princess if I have no issues restarting after tearing tendons in my foot, training for the Disney Half last year.

Hi all!

My name is Haydee (pronounced like Heidi!), I'm 28, and from Miami, FL. I started C25K after reading several blogs (especially Karvy09's) about the program. I LOVE it so far. So does my boyfriend who was always trying to get me to start running with him again. We just recently did the program together (C25KW2D3) while at the beach.

Anyhoo, it was only natural to join the team since I already have been enjoying the C25K program. I look forward to the support and the inspiration from this Sparkteam!

My goal is to eventually do a half marathon. There's one in January (not sure if that's too soon). I've jogged an entire 5k before the program so I think now that I'm back on, this could be feasible. Just don't want to push myself too much! emoticon
