Best wishes!!! Who knows where that single step will take you! I never thought when I took the first step towards being a runner that less than a year later I would have done several 5k's, one 10k and be planning a half marathon later this year. Enjoy every step!

Alexa, Welcome to the team! Take it slow with one step at a time. I am in the middle of week 3 and thought I was going to die today. But I finished my run and actually felt great and gained some energy. Keep up the good work and have fun with it. emoticon

I have never been a runner or desired to be one but as a remained consistent with my walking my inner man wanted to pick up and gooooo. I can feel inside of me the yearning to run. I'm have one day left with week one and I love it. You're right one step at a time! Good luck!

Yes... it starts with just a step! emoticon I started C25K a little over 3 weeks ago, and am still doing week 2. I started with no running background and straight off the couch, so I'm having to take it a little slower.

So this afternoon I decided I was going to start walking and wogging 9Walk/Jogging) and eventually Jogging. and To do a 5k!

I did a 5k two years ago and I Finished in 52 minutes at 245 lbs. I plan on doing in 40 minutes and a lot less pounds.

I did my first mile today, at 20 minutes walking at a constant pace. I'm excited and ready for the next things.
