Thank you so much for the link. It's EXACTLY what I needed!! Still feeling my way around the site and to be perfectly honest with you, I haven't started full fledged yet. But I sure am getting closer every day. Thanks again.

Hi there and welcome to Spark People. I am sure you'll love it here. This team is awesome too. Everybody is very supportive. I've been a member of SP for ages but kinda fell off the wagon and am back and serious about doing it right as of Aug. 1st. I found this page for you about serving sizes:

O.K.... I feel like I'm doing the "Hokey Pokey". ya know... I'm putting my right toe in, I'm taking my right toe out... I haven't REALLY started yet.. I guess I'm kinda easing my way into it. I can tell that my biggest challenge will be the damn water. People say "put Crystal Light in it" No, it's not the taste. It's just getting my elbow to bend - getting the glass up to my lips. No, I'm not physically challenged... it's a mental thing. I've worked at my desk with a full glass of water sitting there for 8 hours and I never take a sip. What can I say, I'm a camel. The other problem is when I CAN get all the water down, it gives me acid reflux real bad. Oddly enough, I can get UNsweetend Ice tea down without a problem. Drinking a gallon of my plain "brown water" (as all the "sweet tea people" around me call it), is just fine. Not sure how that fits in the Spark program. I have a treadmill here in the house. just have to get all the clothes off of it. Where can I find what constitutes a "serving of fruit"? Is it a Cup?? 1/2 a cup?? Are there any "Bellevuians" that go to some of the local restaurants?? I'm at the City Limits Cafe chomping on their Spring Salad at least twice a month. (My Cribbage Club meets there). I'm so ready to lose this extra weight.
