Love your quote for the day. Very inspiring. I am trying to reduce the sweets I eat. I am finding as each week goes along, the craving for sweets is less. I give in out of habit not out of real cravings. (ie on my way to swim, I stop at Dandi Mini Mart and grab something to eat because I am starved)...Today I grabbed an oreo cookie bar, but it didn't even taste good. I think that is a good sign...Tomorrow, I am hoping to bring popcorn and eat it before I leave work so I am full and don't stop at the Dandi Mini Mart before I swim at all...We shall see!

I am losing weight 10% at a time. I can do this!
Goal: 5 pounds a season.

Welcome back to Spark People Lynn!

I have been here like forever and it seems I am really good at recycling. hehehe

On my most recent efforts, I have lost 22# so almost to my first goal of a - 25#/weigh of 175. After I reach this goal, I will take it 5#'s at a time. I do low carb and it works for me.

Again, welcome back and best wishes.

Sunny

I've been on SP before and rejoined back in January. While I have lost some weight since the beginning of the year, I have really struggled with it even with being as active as I am in my job. I just found a new plan that combines extended fasting with a ketogenic/low carb, high fat diet, but encourages a 4:1 ratio of veggies to meat/fat by weight. I figure as long as everything goes well, I might as well give it a shot. I am also attempting to be more consistent in using SP and the tools, including teams, available to maybe keep myself more accountable. I look forward to seeing what everyone is doing and the different ways everyone is following their plan.
