Thank you, KD. I had to look up OMAR and realized I do that many times naturally! This weekend will be OMAR for sure because we are traveling and socially will eat out our meals.
I appreciate your reply and look forward to visiting this team often.

Welcome Gen!!

I do a keto/if lifestyle. Mainly try to get in 16/8, 18/6, 20/4, sometimes only eat OMAD. Then throw in an EF from time to time as I can. I got serious January 10th - and have dropped 10 pounds so far. I'm going for another 30, or however much I weigh when I like the way I look.

If you've lost 70 pounds by doing fasting/low carb you know it can be done!!

Glad to see a fasting team that is active!!! I have searched teams and most are dead.

I'm new to this team but not new to fasting. Fasting isn't easy BUT it does make me feel so much better. I lost a lot of weight by fasting and eating low carb foods in 2014. The combination of lower carbs and fasts eliminated cravings & helped me stick to the weight loss plan. I lost over 70 lbs. in two years by fasting 2-4 times per week eating 500-700 calories. I never really made it to goal because that last 5 pounds just hung on!!!

Last fall I let my guard down and indulged the sweetness of the holidays. Not good! 2018 is starting to look like a year of gain! (Currently have 18 lbs to drop) So... this girl must take a step in the right direction and I'm hoping some Spark time will encourage me to be healthy in my food choices.

Haven't yet decided the type of fasting I'm going to stick with... But I realize now I'm going to have to stick with something! If you read this will you share the type of fasting that has worked for you?
