Hey Elizabeth - welcome to the group!!

I think low carb is excellent - especially for women "of a certain age"!! I have been low carb since January 2018. And I'm not looking back. I'll go in for my yearly next month - very excited to see how I fare!

Hello everyone. I joined SparkPeople some time ago but never really did much with it. I have always been up and down in my weight, never quite making it go my goal.

Last Spring I decided to lower my carb intake. I am a carb lover so this was not an easy feat. But the results were awesome and I have been eating this way ever since. I have lost 25 lbs, and am lower than I have been in a very long time. I passed my goal and I am on a roll.

I have been a runner for many years. It definitely was a bit of a challenge at first, but after awhile I guess my body adapted and now I run with lots of energy and being this much lighter has really helped.

I have heard about intermittent fasting but have never tried it. I thought it might be a good place to see what it is all about. I'm not sure how easy that would be for me! :)

Anyway, I was excited to log back in to the Sparkpeople website and discover that there are teams for the keto/low carb diet! Looking forward to getting to know you all!
