I really need to work on portion control. I was packing lunch today -- portion size one cup so I measured it out -- without even eating any, I decided that wasn't enough so I added another big spoonful. Now, I have to estimate the calorie count.

Keeping my goal in mind to lose 9 pounds by the end of March -- I was motivated to exercise a little longer than normal.

Okay, we've set our goals. Now, how are we going to do it?



I've been estimating my calories each day. I know using the nutrition tracker is a better way to keep track. I want to calculate the calories for some meals that I can mix and match easily and know that it fits into my plan.

I'm going to set a goal to weigh 230 pounds on March 31st.
I read somewhere to set achievable goals, but also goals that stretch you. I think 9 pounds in 5 weeks is possible, if I work really hard.

Love it Dee. I work on a collage and when struggling I reread it. It is full of your motivational posts.

My goal was to work on water and I still struggle with this. I like water and prefer it straight vs fruit or veggie infused or flavored. Just get busy and forget to drink.

I will drink a glass of water before each meal. I've used that strategy in the past and it helps me to focus on my goals, slows me down, reminds me to taste each bite and stop when full.
