I've decided to make April a free choice month. What I would like to do is have everyone pick a book that they have access to as their "feature" book for the month. Pick a title, explain why you have chosen it, and when you finish, edit your initial post and tell us how you feel after finishing it. I'll put up the April thread soon (maybe not today, but this weekend). Here's what I'm imagining it would look like:

I'll put the April 2020 post in the Monthly Reads section.
Each of us will reply to it (anyone who wants to participate). The reply would look something like this:

I'm picking (insert title and author here) because (reason - maybe it is because it was on your bookshelf at home for a while and now seems to be as good as any to read it, or maybe you needed a light book to keep your mind off of things - whatever reason if fine).

After reading it, edit your post and add what you think. If it was something to get your mind off of things and make you laugh, did it do the trick? Did it help? Did it live up to your expectations? Do you wish you had chosen something different?

Ours are closed now too. Now I am happy I have all those used books I bought and never got around to reading.

I tried to get a bunch just in case it closed. Two came in, but the library closed before I could get there. ANd if I finish reading the one book I have, I can't drop it off until they open again. It's an old book and I'm scared to death something will happen to it. Oh well.

Our library just announced today that it's closing until the end of March and that no one would accrue fees during that time so please don't return your books until then. Kinda makes me wish I had checked out 50 or more books before this started...

I think that is a great idea. I would probably download on kindle from library before going to a library. I think that is the only choice, Thanks for thinking of it.
Just yesterday I drove by my library and thought they should be closed because you can't clean all those surfaces. I have plenty of to read books on my shelf.

Given the current situation in the world with regards to the virus, some of us might have a tough time getting library books. If that becomes a problem with anyone, we can consider making April a "free choice" month.
