Mary Ellen, that recipe came from WW many years ago and I have been making it for 6 or more years in a 9 x 13 pan and have never had one bit of trouble removing from pan. It is very moist, especially on the bottom.
It is also on SP recipes many times. Trust me, no grease or spray needed.

I know you never grease the pan for a "regular" AF cake, but this one is totally different. You bake it in a 9x13 and it really doesn't end up as an AF cake at all! Of course I haven't tasted it yer, but the reviews are pretty fantastic, It does rise a bit when baked. In fact it rose a bit when mixing in the pineapple. The recipe is all over the internet. Google it and those folks that didn't spray the pan were using jackhammers to get it out of the pan!! The pineapple makes it a different cake altogether. I touched the top before I put the lid on it and it is a bit sticky. I"ll report on it later. I believe I have Wi-Fi at the condo in VA, so I will try to touch base from up there.

Attitude is everything, pick a good one!

Certainly I have a 6-pack. You just can't see it through my soft sided cooler!

What a gorgeous day it was! Could take a whole year of that! We were gone all day from 8:30 AM until just after 9 PM.
Did some early morning shopping while DH got haircut.
Home on time to eat lunch and head to other side of town for DH to see eye dr.
Home on time to pick up grandson from bus, grab quick bite to eat and take two kids to their competition cheering practice.in Durham.
Chuck and I roamed around Sam's Club for two hours, watched kids for a while, then home.
Guess what! I'm tired and also late for Sparkin'.
Good Night!

OH! Mary Ellen, you never grease a pan for angel food cake. I make that cake frequently and have some in fridge right now. I'm not eating it, but DH enjoys it. Friend in FL discovered it is great to use in place of shortcake and cover with strawberries. Try that sometime.
Have fun on trip! Buy a rotisserie chicken somewhere and that's good eatin'. Great on your salad, too.

Already busy cooking. WE leave for Massanutten tomorrow. We will only have a partial kitchen, hence no oven. I didn't realize it when I decided to make two dishes to bring along a baked Mac & Cheese recipe as well as an Angel Food/Pineapple cake. I got them from friends on Sunday and wanted to try both of them. They both require an oven so I decided to make them today and take them along in the ice chest. We plan on shopping when we get there. There is a WalMart and a Costco nearby, but after driving all day and getting settled in we probably won't feel much like cooking, so both will be good to get us started.

The Angel Food/Pineapple cake could not be easier. You take a box of Angel Food cake mix, add a large can of crushed pineapple and mix it well. Pour into a Pam'ed 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350F 20-25 minutes. I added half a cup of shredded coconut. The Mac & Cheese is another quick and easy one. Take 2 cups of UNCOOKED elbow macaroni, 2 1/2 cups BOILING water, 1/2 stick of butter, 8 oz cubed sharp cheddar cheese and 12 oz. cottage cheese. Mix well and bake 350F for 60-90 minutes. Supposed ot be the best you've ever tasted! We'll see about that! Anyway, the cake is done and the pasta is baking as I write this. Off to do my stretching and probably some laundry so I can get packed. I looked at the weather for the places we want to visit and it's looking like we will definitely need umbrellas. Let's hope the weatherman is wrong once again!

Have a great day!

Good Morning Team!

Oh What a Beautiful Morning! I have the doors open letting in some nice Cool Fresh Air.

I overslept this morning and forgot to set my coffee maker, so I am moving a little slow. I have a busy day planned starting with my Cardio Warm Up and then out the door for my run. I plan to run 6-7 miles today. Later I will be taking my mother to her Aquatic Physical Therapy for her Gym Workout this afternoon.

Wishing all a Wonderful Day.. Enjoy this Beautiful Weather..
