Happy Tuesday everyone!

It was a fun but tiring weekend trip, with a crummy ending. I lost a very important piece of jewelry - it probably fell from my lap into the Leesburg Costco parking lot where we stopped to get the weekly supplies on our way home. We've torn apart the car looking for it, but I still hope it will turn up. I've also posted a lost item on Craig's list, and have put in a lost property report with the police. I hope some good soul finds it and either goes to the police or checks Craigs List.

So, I'm grieving. Partly because the loss was due to my carelessness, and part because of the meaning of the item. Hubby is being so kind and supportive too, which helps. Oh well - I'm doing what I can to increase the chances that it can be returned; after that, I just need to let go. Keeping to my daily schedule and food plan helps too.

On our road trip to Michigan from Washington state! Off to a great start to our vacation!

These pat few days I've made all good healthy choices. I haven't eaten a whole lot, but when I have it's been salads etc. Im not really hungry because we are just riding in a car. We stopped at Wendy's and I just got coffee, I couldn't justify spending money when we weren't hungry.

Just under 2 more hours and we will finally be at our destination! The kids have been terrific and well behaved. Thank you Lord!

Seems like most of the work crew was under the weather today, I took a zinc pill when I got home.
I stayed up watching the gymnasts last night, no regrets! As a shorty (5'2") I enjoy watching the girls do their thing, because of course, in my head, I could do it, too.

I like to stay in B&B in lovely places. You get to talk to the locals, meet people from different areas and get breakfast without shopping or driving.

Going to do some work outside for a few hours, so I did not take my walk this morning. Weight is holding and I am sure it has to do with eating. Logging in food really helps but I am just not motivated. But I am also not willing to let the weight go up again it was just too hard to get it back to reasonable maintenance weight.

Temps have been cooler the past few days but are going back up. So back to really early morning walks.

Glad to hear it's Happiness Day...hoping some comes everyone's way today. I need it. Yes Maree...me too. Stupid choices leave you feeling blah, and I have a heavy dose of that today. Time to buck up!

Toni, I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather, and hoping it passes quickly. Bess, the B & B sounds lovely! We all need that rejuvenation at times, and glad it happened for you.

What a lovely scene you painted Bess!

I did some running according to my Nike app half marathon training plan. When the alarm went off this morning I thought about a mental health day but alas, I am at my desk.

I'm meeting my running group after work for a four mile run in an area I've never run before. Looking forward to that!

Bess, I haven't been in a bed and breakfast in years. We used to stay in them sometimes when I was little, back before interstates when it took a long time to get anywhere, and there were few motels.

Last night was so cool and lovely, I slept with the windows open so I could hear the peepers and the owls. I had to pull up a blanket because I got cold. Real sleeping weather!

I take Mom to the dentist this afternoon.

Happy Monday! Back from vacation and ready to put my life back to sorts with no planned time off for a little while.

Trying to get back in the swing of things. Doing strict Whole 30 through my birthday at the end of the month and easing back into exercise. My Olympics watching has me thrown off, too, but I'll figure it out.

Ouch. I'm sorry you're under the weather Toni. Hope you're feeling better soon. Maree - I know exactly what you mean about feeling off track from making tiny but bad choices - duh. because I've been doing it too.

My sweet weekend away was very restoring. Somehow, sitting on a pink and white Victorian porch in painted wicker, watching a sleep small town wake up on a Sunday morning is conducive to pulling your thoughts together. Plans that hadn't been able to coalesce in my own home, full of all my toys, dogs and beloved family, had a chance to be heard and step out onto my journal. I'm feeling great - ready to move forward - even to tackle a Monday morning. Honestly - I feel more like I've spent a week at the beach instead of a night in a bed and breakfast.

This is a lesson I won't forget.

Good morning. Feeling yucky today, I think I caught a bug with all my traveling of late. Laying low today and drinking lots of water. I know my energy must be hiding somewhere, lol. I am taking a couple of on line classes this afternoon. I'm glad to be able to 'show up' in my pj's from my sofa.

I want to put my hands together for that docking too, Maree. As much time as I've spent on the water, I've never taken the helm to dock. I've seen lots of experienced boaters do it...not well too...so good for you for tackling it and doing a good job as well. Time to call you Captain Maree!!

Good morning team!

Thanks for the applause on the docking. Lol. Yes, Dee, I agree that watching the Olympics is inspiring. I fell asleep to them last night.

I feel out of sorts--likely due to being out of routine, overly tired and eating crap. But I know how to turn it around and shall start today.

Crossfit class and an extra walk because it feels so nice outside this morning. Lean, pure protein eating today...and tomorrow...and ... emoticon
