Neither Airborne nor Emergen-C do anything for me.

I can't believe its barely Tuesday. The werk week has already felt SO long. And apparently 12 hour shifts aren't bad enough, now I need to start at 0330 on Thursday. Bakers hours. I REALLY hope this means 3-day weekend.

Let's climb over that hump, who's with me?!

Dee, from sunny Southern California [Pacific Time Zone]

Get well wishes to all of our people feeling under the weather. Somehow feeling blah during the summer is worse than at any other time of year.

Getting our errands accomplished, and trying to take care of all the medical stuff. Weigh in tomorrow so I'll see how much I've lost or gained in a year.

Hi all, don't think I have checked in a for a few days as we are on the move again.we are currently at our friends then leaving again tomorrow. I did get a good walk in today. Yeah.....my body is much happier.
Sorry to hear we have a few maintainers not feeling well. Hope you are on the mend very soon. Five more days and we are heading home....about a three day drive....

Really had the munchies yesterday which will not help the weight issue. I let the veggies in the house get low. The farmers market was closed this last weekend because of a parade for the county fair. Today will be better I went to the market and bought salad makings.

Off to the fair today to check out the art exhibit. The DH and a few artists he knows won awards. We never eat anything it looks way to fat filled and greasy. Nice days right now but may be warmer this weekend.

JAMIRBLAZE, good for you easing back into an active routine!

POINDEXTRA, sorry about your lost jewelry, I hope someone finds it and contacts you. I know that feeling!

I met my running group at a path yesterday for a four-mile run. Today on the Nike training app, I'm scheduled for 7 miles. Going to try to leave a little early fingers crossed.

Healthy vibes going your way Toni!

Good morning! Having a hard time getting going as I stayed up way too late again. Olympics coverage is so addicting at times.

I'm not an Airborne user, but I do use Emergen-C from time to time. Even if it's just mentally, I feel better for doing so.

Did some cardio last night - easing back in after a few weeks of being active but not much intentional exercise. ST tonight.

Hope that everyone has a good one!

Here's another major Airborne fan - I keep it in both bathrooms, in the kitchen cabinet at work and in my travel bag. If I wake up with even the slightest sore throat I take one and have been known to max it out (something like 4 or 6 per day). I'll also start immediately with the green smoothies. I get sick if I take straight zinc or echinacea so I was glad to find some things I could use in their stead. And Toni-girl - I'm sending you white light good health juju. And to every one of our maintainers who are under the weather ... hope that's not you anymore, Swede-Su.

I slept late again this morning - but I'd done a serious gym workout between 5 and 6 and that often keeps me up later at night ... or whatever. LOL. I almost always wake up way early so if I ever sleep late (that's 6:30 for me) I figure I needed the sleep more than I needed anything else. I've been weighing in at goal or a little under most of this summer but I've been feeling really flabby. I think it's because exercise has suffered as I've had to work on Werk Projecks. Well, that and the heat, and now the mosquitoes. So I am working on a master plan to get to that happy with my body feeling. I'm sure it will come out as a blog soon.

emoticon if we can ever get Miss Scatterbrain to sit down and finish it
emoticon I'm not scattered - I'm out scooping up that happy feeling

Ahh - I knew they were close to the surface. Happy Tuesday from Me 'n TheBrains

I've never heard of Airborne, but we won't be doing any flying anymore. My hubby can't deal with the walking and the pressure changes of flying.

Maree, doesn't it seem that the grandkids grow up a lot faster than the kids did?

The cleaners will be here in half an hour, hubby has to leave for breakfast so he can be away from the chaos.

Toni, hope you feel better soon. Maree - thanks for the tip about Airborne. I haven't heard of it, but just looked it up and realize I've seen visitors use it (wondered what the debris was left in the bottom of their water glasses in the morning!). Will file that one in the back of my mind for my next travels.

Feels like summer is coming to a close, and I'm not ready for it. The days are hot, but the nights are cool. But oh, how I love a cool night with the window open! But summer has gone far too quickly.

Hey, good morning. Still sofa bound with the cold. Will remember Airborne next time!

In the meantime, reading a lot and keeping my Kleenex box close.

Good morning!

Hope you are feeling better Toni. Traveling by airplane and all that hugging at weddings is a perfect opportunity for germs to invade. I try to remember to take Airborne when I fly or at the first sign of a sniffle. Seems to help.

Today is granddaughter's 5th birthday--remembering her grand EARLY entrance, at only 3.5 lbs, but so confident that she was ready to be here. Lots of memories...

Crossfit WOD is running and rowing-- major cardio day. Ok, I can do that. DH agreed to walk with me after dinner.

Ok, need to scoot. Hope all have a great day!
