Oh my, lots of activity on the team!

Got in a good walk to the place we go to for bkfst - but, well, now I'm icing my knee. Spent much of the day booking our travels for the next six or so weeks - when you don't have a home and just travel, well, it kinds of helps to have a vague plan. We're not sure if the medical stuff is finished, but we just picked a date and booked Hawaii. Will be there for the wedding, then back here for the reception with the rest of the family. (Not everyone is going to the wedding in Hawaii.)

My audit went great! My first one btw! She was very impressed that I had everything she had requested to see (via e-mail) in a binder for her. The couple of things I didn't have in there I had on my desk and took a few seconds to get to her. I was so crazy nervous for nothing. I got lucky that she was so nice, too. Yay me!
Now I need a few days off. emoticon

Terri, the drama of this sale would probably have me in tears or at least not sleeping. You are one cool cookie and I hope it is all resolved very soon.
Toni, I hope your luggage arrives today. I agree, I would rather make my flight than my luggage.
Lovely day here today so a walk will be in order
Happy Tuesday all

Happy Tuesday all!

We're at the NYC cruise port, all checked in and waiting to board. My login streak will end today, since we'll be at sea tomorrow with no Internet.

Hugs to all of you, who help to make maintaining fun!

Welcome home Toni! It's great to travel but always nice to be home! I look forward to pictures.

Back to my regular routine temps cooled down about 15 - 20 from last week which is nice. I told myself last week that I won't do the half marathon again, that training took up too much time THEN I got an email yesterday for a discount on next year's half marathon. hmmmmmmm. emoticon

My foot feels like nothing happened. We shall see.

I came in to work this morning to a decorated desk by my co-workers. They also looked through photos of me on the half marathon website and printed a picture of my daughter and I. I cringed thinking of the several other pictures they had to have seen with my jiggly pale thighs. I do NOT photograph well during a race. emoticon

The scale is being kind to me so I'm trying to stick to smart eating with a little less activity this week. Thanks for all the supportive comments!!!

emoticon all around!

Good morning! Great to wake up in the US, though we do not yet have our luggage. It is in Frankfort, Germany where we had way too little connection time. It rattles one to have one's name called as you get to the gate. We were the last on the plane. Whew. And if it was between us and the suitcase, glad to get on first!

Anyway, happy to be home.

Sorry to hear about your house sale, Terri. Frustration city, for sure and I think you are wise to wait until all the info is in before getting excited again.

I hope everyone has an active, healthy day! And my one great "accomplishment" while touring Italy was at least signing in to Spark each day (-: It was a good reminder in a city Full of Food.

Time flies is not happening here. Each day is crawling by as we are waiting for word. emoticon Like that song ďdo we stay or do we goĒ. The stagers pick up the furniture today. The house will be empty except for a few items that were negotiated with the sale. We got word yesterday that the buyer has submitted his loan package to 2 different lenders and our agent feels very positive that one if not both will approve. We will believe it when it happens. Meanwhile trying to live life in a normal way is nigh impossible. I know this will pass. We are supposed to hear yes or no by the end of the week. Hubby and I discussed again last night what to do if this effort falls through. I am not sure I am up to putting the house back on the market (and Iím not sure he is either). But this will be a joint decision and both of us will be good with whatever we finally decide. emoticon

After the furniture is gone, I may be able to talk hubby into a gym visit. We have a few other errands, like a grocery store, and also have a few boxes for shredding. I have a hair cut this afternoon. emoticon A plus since I thought I may have to cancel it but we are still here!

Poindextra ~ Bon Voyage! emoticon

Sunny ~ We have had house cleaners for years. Hubby is very particular but we finally found someone. They will be here Thursday, empty house and all. I donít want to cancel them yet and I figure they can dust and vacuum places they normally donít get to. emoticon

Donna ~ It doesnít seem that preapproval means much here. The buyer was preapproved for all that did. emoticon

Nell ~ Would have loved to have a back up offer. We are overbuilt for the neighborhood and have an unusual floor plan. We wanted a certain amount to move forward and knew there would be a possibility that the house wouldnít sell. But neither of us expected this kind of drama. emoticon that someone else makes the bed too.

Phebess ~ emoticon for the info. It is a bit too disruptive for us to have the house listed for that long. We were up for the 90 days and if there were continuous showings and interest we might have held on longer. But we are not seeing that. And we donít have to move.

Dee ~ We are in a bit of a hot streak too. And now the weather shows rain for next weekend. Go figure. emoticon

Maree ~ Great meditation! emoticon

Bess ~ Glad to hear you got a good nightís sleep. emoticon

Cat ~ Sending turn the light on vibes your way. emoticon

JamirBlaze ~ Funny how once you get started, the exercise just happens. emoticon

Hoping this post wasnít too depressing. Just a lot of frustration right now and nothing we can do about it.

Terri

Happy Tuesday! Shorter, but busy day today. Leaving early for a doctor's appointment today. Just an annual exam.

I missed the debates-I was up, but in wind down mode and my blood pressure couldn't take it. This election cycle has left a lot to be desired.

Talked myself into some gentle cardio after dinner to get my steps up and ended up doing that and one of my ST workouts. So many times - it's getting through the first 5 minutes and then it all falls in line. I have no developed a mysterious bruise on the heel of my right hand. Not sure where it came from...but probably the weights.

Nell - I love getting the first appointment of the day. So much more likely that they won't be super late or running behind.

Hope that everyone has a good one!

Nell - you are too funny! Close the bedroom door so the plumber can't see!! Kelli - congrats on your race! That's such a victory. Terri, hoping all goes well with the approvals.

Sorry I missed again yesterday. Had a very appropos quote the other day:

"I'm sorry, but the light at the end of the tunnel is out until further notice."

Kind of how it feels right now...waiting anxiously for it to get back on!

Good morning all.

I missed most of the debate last night, too, I kept going back and forth to the football game, which was more interesting. I wonder how the viewership stats came in for the two?

The plumber will be here in less than an hour to fix our toilet. I like the idea of an early call, it frees up the day, but I have to feed my husband early. And get the bed made. Can't have a plumber thinking I'm messy.

Dee, will you need to re-do your audit material?

Oh Dee! What a bummer. I hope you can use all the tidied up data you put together for that audit sometime in the future. Terri - what a wonderful update - and we're all rootin' for the next lender to sign off. I know you want to move on. Kellie - way yay to you, you champion. I can completely understand why you'd sob after running a big race. Sorry your foot hurts, though. Shout out to Swede Su and some of the other quiet ones. I'm sure missing your posts.

Well, Maree - I did crash and sleep the night away - after a healthy dinner but no gym. I took two gentle walks yesterday but I decided going to the gym was not the right thing to do. I love to go so it's not as if I'm likely to drift away. I also got enough of one of the BigProjects done that I can see the end of it in sight. I take it to the County Administrator today for going over before it's submitted to the board of supervisors - in front of whom I will be presenting it in Oct. But what's left to do is the fun stuff - making the power point presentation. Filling in a few last statistics. The arts and crafts part of it. There was More Werk and there is one more deadline for Wednesday but I will meet that. weigh-in is tonight. Curious to see what effect Cake and Cake had on my weight.

Good morning!

I finally slept well last night, making up for an early wake up several nights last week, including Sunday night--was right there with you Bess. I'm sure it was stress too; had a big meeting yesterday am, but it went great!

I fell asleep just as the debate was starting. I managed to watch a little bit.

Congrats Kellie. I'll have to check out your blog. How sweet of your daughter to put those memories together.

Traveling today, with a luncheon seminar. Will I be able to resist the temptations? What's more important to me, a temporary pleasure or the "thinner me"? This is the meditation I'll work on.

Time to get ready for CrossFit.

Hope all have a great day!
