I listen to a wide variety of music and for some reason I always find a very strange arrangement of songs I listen to when working out. Heres a few of the tracks

Enrique Inglesias - I like it
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
LMFAO - I Am Not A Whore (great beat!)
Jay-Z - On to the Next One
N.E.R.D. - Everyone Nose
Miley Cryus - Can't Be Tamed
Carrie Underwood - Undo it
Skillet - Comatose
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger (I try to start my run with this song)
Justin Timberlake - My Love (because I love him!)

Bodies-Drowning Pool
Headstrong-Trapt
We're Not Gonna Take it-Twisted Sister
No Brakes-The Offspring
Aim for the Head-Creature Feature
Punk Rock 101-Bowling For Soup.
The Shake Up-Watch Out! There's Ghosts
Dashboard-Modest Mouse
The Distance-Cake
Music-Madonna
Walk This Way-Aerosmith or the one with RUN DMC... both are good.

Just a few of my energizing tunes. There's a bit of variety there.

i'm still into the old stuff, like "Dancing In The Dark" and "Club At The End Of The Street" and so on for my workouts.

Having a good playlist is SO essential... here are some really good songs to RUN to:

Animals - Nickelback; Bulletproof - La Roux; Funk Soul Brother - Fat Boy Slim; Heart of a Champion - Nelly; Imma Be - Black Eyed Peas; Lose Control - Missy Elliot; Till I Collapse - Eminem

Listen to those 7 songs and you can EASILY RUN at least 2 MILES!

I was going to say the Rocky soundtrack. It can be a little cheesy, but most of the songs help a lot with getting motivated.

"gonna fly now" is good if you find yourself lagging a bit toward the end of a workout and wanna get a quick boost--pavlovian response i guess (i just need to get the rocky movies and throw them on a lot--that'd motivate me constantly!)

I really like Lady Gaga and Basshunter. About 90% of Basshunter's songs are good/fast songs. About 1/2 of Lady Gaga's songs are good.

I also enjoy songs like "Eye of The Tiger" and songs like that.

Basically I go through all of my songs and find "happy" songs that are also fast beat songs.

Hey Sparkers... I'm wanting to create a playlist on my Ipod that will get (and keep) me motivated to workout. What are some of your favorite songs that gets you up and moving?
