I had sort of a binge yesterday night and was tempted to skip weigh-in this morning. I'm also sore from strength training and that usually means temporary weight gain. But I promised myself at the beginning that I was always going to hold myself accountable for my choices, good or bad. So I stepped on the scale, expecting a gain. Turns out I lost weight instead.

Proud of myself for sticking to plan, being a big girl and facing my poor decisions instead of pretending it didn't happen.

Burned 318 calories on the treadmill, 2.17 miles with incline/speed intervals, had good strength training session.

Just happy to be in a better mood today. Had a bad day yesterday and it felt good to be in the gym today. Lost another 4 lbs so far this week!

Went out to eat for lunch for a business networking group and ordered a grilled chicken salad with no dressing and drank water with a little lemon juice in it.

I weighed in today. I have been avoiding it because I was worried I had gained some weight back. I last weighed in on Dec 22. I tried to be good during the holidays, avoided pop, and tried to only sample the sweets instead of filling up on them like previous years. I was pleasantly surprised to see I lost 1.5 pounds since my last weigh in!!!! Avoiding the scale is the way I got overweight in the first place, allowing myself to live in denial of the weight I had gained. This time I want to keep myself in check and not allow potential set backs to keep me from reaching my goal.
