I love this Ted Talk. She got me to be real about what I want. My reasons for losing weight aren't pretty but they are completely real.

1. I can't put my socks/shoes on without huffing & puffing.
2. Shoe shopping w/ my husband. I couldn't reach my feet almost. He wasn't sure whether to help me or let me do it so I wasn't embarrassed.
3. I can't see my V when I look down unless I pull up my belly fat.
4. I can't see the number on the scale without pulling up my belly fat.
5. I want to hike in Colorado and keep up with my husband.
6. It hurts every time I have to climb even one flight of stairs.
7. I have to use my husband's leg to push off of when I get off the couch.
8. I don't like how I look when we are having sex. I wear a shirt most of the time.
9. I have heartburn almost every day, at times bile comes up.
10. I can't breathe. My knees hurt. My hips hurt. I can't run around w/ my stepson.

1. Reduce pain from Fibromyalgia
2. Look better in clothes
3. Buying Cheaper clothes!!
4. Feel sexier naked
5. Have more energy
6. Not have as many sick days
7. Motivate my husband to be healthier and reduce heart problems (they run in the family)
8. Have myself be proud of me
9. Be more active - Not get winded walking up stairs I"d like to canoe, and hike and play sports
10. Stay away from aging over weight conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol and heart problems
11. To reduce stress

2. To feel more proud of what my body is capable of doing

I want to loose weight prior to trying to have kids.No way do I want an additional 30 pounds to what I already have on me. Otherwise a healthier me.

My reason for losing weight is my wife. She has Diabetes and needs the support. I want to live a long healthy life with her.

The main reason I am losing weight is for my health. Good health means I will be there for my family and friends in the long-run. It also means that I won't have to deal with the health complications of being obese. I will be able to reduce my chances of having a stroke, heart disease, diabetes and other similar issues.

To feel good about myself and look good in my clothes, well basically, anything I wear. That's the goal! And to just be healthier than I currently am.

i want to have more energy. dragging the extra weight is tiring on my joints and it is frustrating to have to adjust my flab so clothes fit or stay up.

stop snoring the extra weight in my face caused my snoring to be louder

2. I want to improve my numbers: lower LDL, raise HDL, lower triglycerides, lower glucose

To be a good role model for my kids.

im not sure if these are the types of things you are looking for, but this was a list I came up with for a challenge.

1. I want to be a good example of health and wellness for my kids
2. I want to Be actually healthy, not just mostly
3. I want to be confident in my awesomeness
4. I want to be the fun mom who can and will play games and run and have fun with the kids
5. I want to focus on relationships, not food
6. I want to shop in regular departments in regular stores
7. I want to overcome symptoms of PCOS which can be improved with weight loss, but also can complicate/slow/challenge weight loss and maintenance
8. I want to do what I can to live a very long life
9. I want to enter my 40s healthier than I've been in my 30s, and even most of my 20s.
10. I want to be in control of my weight rather than my weight controlling me.
11. I want to overcome the family health history and risk factors I can control.
