I was off the grid for 2 months because of no school/work but I did not gain wt. !! (just got out of the 300# club the week before vacation) emoticon Now I need to get back to the losing mode. Stocking up on fresh fruit and veggies !!

Today I am starting over. I have listed goals to meet and improvements I want to make physically, emotionally, mentally and to lose weight. I am starting now for a headstart on September. I love having a fresh slate on which I can write. emoticon

I got a bit stuck for a while, and then finally took a friend's advice. I added strength training to my workouts. Two a week, for 30 minutes, I use weights to strengthen my arms, legs, and core. I also worked my way into eating within the amount of calories recommended on nutrition tracker. Those two changes sem to have broken the dam. Slowly, but surely, I am losing again.

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

Sorry Movingforme55 emoticon I have not used a pill yet that I did not gain back more then I lost on the pill..Over the last 20 years I have tried 4 different kinds (a couple of times). I lost 35 # last year w/o pills and I am holding steady but you will have to move ( I just walk at a comfortable pace 1 mile 2-3 x a week build up over the year from not being able to walk around my complex slow w/o busting out into a blinding sweat) Take it slow and eat LOTS of fresh fruits and veggies. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon mmmm emoticon P.S. I just got out of the 300# club and holding +/- 5 pounds at 299

Had lost but quickly putting back on weight lost when sick. I have a question for everyone...has anyone here ever been or taken meds that reduce hunger, that have helped. I do not have a primary Doctor and go to one of the minor clinics covered on my health insurance. I can't keep any momentum going past a few days. Im so incredibly tired of carrying this extra 100+ lbs around feeling tired, sore, etc. I feel like ive reached a point where I'm stuck, standing in front of of a 50 ft ( weight) wall. I look and only see it. Can't look over, under, or around it. I know there's no magic pill to go "poof". But I know I need help.

Me and my Sparky Hubby have lost 161 pounds so far. It sure does help to have such support at home. We know exactly what each other is sacrificing to get healthier for ourselves and each other.

Here we are 5 days into August and I could not do much on SP last night hurt too much from pt on left knee.

The rabbit lost the race, but the turtle won because he was slow and kept moving.
