Oh, I remember I did try some diet pill once, for a couple of weeks. It had me so dizzy to near fainting. ...starving myself! Thank God for knowledge gained thru SP! Woohoo!

I've read the south beach and I have used some of the info and I tried water pills a little in highschool. I've not really had the money to ever really do a paid "diet" plan.Any time I've lost a bunch of weight I was working my butt off to do it. I now understand the reason I gained it back is my diet never changed.

Now this makes me feel vulnerable.

I've tried:
-Weight Watchers
-low carb diet
-low fat diet
-Lean Cuisine diet (only eating out of frozen dishes)
-the Alkaline Diet
-Hydroxycut
-Levithian
-Adipex (which I am now allergic too)
-Meridia (which FDA removed from the market, nice, eh)
-Vegan diet
-Paleo/Primal diet

I have no doubt that I've tried other things too, but there are the ones that all had lasting impressions.

Oh wow, you had to ask this question? Let's see:
Grapefruit diet
Green beans and boiled egg diet
Slim Fast
Low Carb
Low Fat
Vinager and Honey diet
I can't think of the name of the pills I used to take when I was in my 20's
I'm sure there's more, but can't think of them.

I've done Our Weigh and Weight Watchers, and both of those worked for a while. With Our Weigh I was able to maintain my lowest weight for almost a year before I went to college (and blew it). The points system with Weight Watchers worked okay, but I was using my points on junk so in the long run I couldn't maintain it.

I've done starvation diets and even the "grapefruit diet". Ridiculous.

I've also tried pills. I used Trimspa for a while, until Anna Nicole Smith died, and there was some rumor that it was because of the pills. I freaked out and stopped taking them. (They hadn't helped any that I could tell anyway.)

Basically, nothing worked in the long run. I might lose a few pounds on whatever program it was, but it still wasn't healthy eating, so it couldn't sustain me.

What types of diets (fads or not) have you tried in the past? Which ones worked for you?
