Ran the entire course, finishing in 43:52. That met both my major goal of running the full course, and my secondary goal of finishing in under 46 minutes.

Now I'll think about whether I want to do the Jingle Bell run. A nine day difference might be sooner than I want to do another organized race, but I'll see how I feel when I run Saturday and Sunday.

Picked up my race packet this evening. Forecast is for 41 and sunny at race time; but the last time the forecast was for 41 when I was going to run, it turned out to be 34. My bag is packed for that possibility.

This one should be fun, and my Thanksgiving will be dominated by exercise rather than by food.

I just signed up for this 10K. It is on Thanksgiving Day at 9AM, starting/ending at First Bible Baptist Church in Hilton. Based on last year's results, I don't think I'll be in serious competition for an age group medal. My goal is to actually be able to run the full 10K, hopefully finishing in under 46 minutes. Running 6.12 miles last Saturday leads me to believe this is possible; but I haven't seen the course, and I don't know what the weather will be like.

If any other local Sparkers are up for this one, I'd be happy to trade services snapping pictures in race gear with whatever nice background is available.
