Stress got to me too this week. Work laid it on me thick yesterday and I caved to old habits and got Little Cesars pizza instead of cooking dinner last night.

UGH and if that wasn't making me feel guilty enough, I cheated and sneaked a peek at the scale this morning... Not only am I mad that I ate ALL that greasy cheap pizza(4 slices) but I'm doubly mad at what the scale revealed; my lack of will power worked against my weight loss goal.

Today is a new day though, and I know that I will do good for the rest of the week. I can't let this slip up be the unraveling of all the hard work I've put in.

Definitely take some time to breathe. Try to focus on one thing at a time. I know my stress levels soars when I try to do too much at once.

We are doing something on a challenge team I am on and I thought it was so good I want to share it. I figure if I can do all this I will definitely be on the right track.

Last Chance Challenge

L – Lower body strengthening for 15 minutes 3x each week
A – Activity – Post to Daily Chat 1x a day
S – Stretching – Stretch for 5 minutes after every work out every day
T – Track everything you eat and drink every day

C – Cardio – Do a minimum of 30 minutes of Cardio every day
H – Help your team mates – Post to a team mates spark page or send a goodie to a team mate every day
A – Arm strengthening for 15 minutes 3x each week
N – No Fast Food
C – Calories – Stay within range every day
E – Eat 5 serving of fruit/veggies every day

October has had it's ups and downs. The ups are great and the downs are fixable.

I am down another pound this week. That makes 4 lbs since we started and I am ok with that. Slow and steady wins the race!! I am down to 221 lbs!! Have lost a total of 27 lbs since starting SP!! Thank you!!!

I tend to lose more inches than pounds at first. I'm losing some weight, but hopefully my body will start losing pounds soon.

Well I just started here, but my "Plan" went into place on the 11th, so I have lost 7 lbs my first week..Yippee!! Not one bite of junk had entered my mouth...2+ liters of water every day and taking my supplement's daily too. I'm sure I'll reach the 25lb by the end of December!

I started in September after a couple of false starts in July and August. I've lost 22.2lbs since September 5, 2010 and I'm going strong. I plan on losing at least 155 more pounds by September 5, 2011. I will reach goal by December 5, 2011! I wish I'd started earlier but I'm a firm believer in things happening for a reason!

Food choices this week have been HARD! Seems like everyone wants to 'treat' me to something sweet/high calorie/fat laden. Whether its sugary treats or heavy lunches I'm having to be very cautious this week on what I accept and what I try to politely avoid.

How do you guys turn down 'gifts' like these?

So far this week my SIL showed up with Starbucks muffins on Saturday, took me out to lunch at a burger joint, and wanted to get ice cream on the way home from shopping. I ate the muffin, and worked the menu at the burger joint to do the best I could, and caved for the ice cream but just got a small cone.

Sunday my mom got us all lunch from a deli. I worked the system and got a vegetarian sandwich, skipped the chips, and ordered water instead of soda (which I dont drink so that wasn't hard).

Monday my BFF took me out to lunch instead of eating the lunch that I brought. We went to subway and I got a 6 inch turkey, mustard and veggies only and water.

Today should be okay, but I know tomorrow I have a dinner with friends, and Thursday is a lunch at a very heavy food Greek restaurant...

This is everyday life though, I can't hide from life and eat carrot sticks the rest of my days. Finding ways to meet these obstacles and find workable solutions is possible and I plan on finding the solutions.

Since Oct 1 I've gained 4lbs not at all happy about it but what's done is done. My goal will be to lose 8lbs by 10/31.

That combination can be a killer! I just learned about fluid requirements in my nutrition class. According to the formula we learned, I need to drink 16 cups of water a day!! I am going to work on increasing mine...

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited that I was able to start off this challenge with a bang! I lost 3.9 lbs this week!! All just from eating right, as I have JUST been cleared to start exercising again this week and getting back into the groove hasn't been easy (or accomplished yet).

I know I can do this, I am so excited to reach my goals, and look so much better this holiday season than I have in my whole adult life! No more hiding behind the camera, no more frumpy sweaters to hide the fat.

Come on December, I'm looking forward to being 25 lbs thinner!

I'm here, started out as a good week, but has turned into a really tough middle. Last night was tempted to eat the entire kitchen due to stress, but instead of doing that I just grabbed my book and went outside to enjoy the rain and a good read. It helped until bedtime. Its really hard to talk yourself out of having a nice sugaring sweet when your stressed but I might stronger than I thought. Weigh in on Friday and I am determined to lose another pound or 2. Good luck all.

The hardest part of the remainder of the year is now over for me! I was in a wedding yesterday, so the last 3 days or so were full of meals out, alcohol (which I almost NEVER drink), etc. I did manage to make lots of good choices, and some I wasn't thrilled with - but I think I've survived relatively unscathed :)

Looking forward to going back to normal completely tomorrow!

Did great the first part of the week poorly the second half. Yesterday I had to help my mom move so for 7 hours I was packing and moving and she has a lot of big furniture I am so sore today it was just me, my sister, her step-daughter and my husband and it was raining and cold all day. My work problem will be resolved tomorrow (long story, could be possibly losing my job over an error) but I am scared to go to work because I don't know the outcome. I hope everyone else is having a great day I am reaffirming my commitment to myself I can't keep letting things derail me I am so tired of being this heavy.

Hello,

I went shopping for groceries yesterday afternoon and I bought merely healthy stuff: green salads, fruits, veggies, etc.
I intend to cook separately for me from the rest of the family since I have a husband and a toddler who don’t need to lose weight. :-)
I will start emoticon in the morning for it’s the only time that I have available for me, myself and I.

I’m so excited for this! I love challenges!

I'm on target for my weight loss goals! I lost 19lbs in September when I started this journey. I am 21lbs away from my first goal of 44lbs lost. So many things are happening in my life, going back to school next year, weight loss (sustainable), etc.

Plan on starting October out right got my calories planned at 1600-1650 and didn't think I was going to be able to hit the gym but just found out I will have the time after work so gonna go work my booty off for about 60 min. Woo hoo.
