Yes, me too - motivated to have no symptoms of illness, no migraines, no weird loss of sensation that I have to see a consultant for, no sore throats. Lots of vitality and energy, and giving my body what it needs in the form of lots of fruit and vegetables and the amount of exercise that feels good - keeps the adrenalin regularly flowing. I am just starting with SP but these are what motivate me today.

I have several depressed clients who are also overweight. I've been encouraging them to try Sparkpeople.

It took me a while to think about the answer to this question. I want to finish something I started for myself. I want to help myself and put myself first for a change. By doing this for me I am taking time to care for myself, in the end it will benefit all those around me.

This seems to be an essential part of our plans to lose weight/ get healthy, etc. And to recognize what it is that motivates us. For me, it seems to be feeling confident in my clothes and seeing muscle definition. I feel like when I wear something I think I look good in, it boosts my self confidence and keeps me hitting the gym and sticking to my healthy foods. THe muscle definition- every little line get's me craving more, harder, heavier weights and workouts.
I am paying attention now to what it is that motivates me daily to stick with this healthy life style..

Yes I like that Advantages of losing weight, not just the outside but the inside as well. Seeing progress has also helped my motivation on losing weight, loose clothes, healthier eating habits and viewing my progression from sp trackers... emoticon

Right now I'm struggling with motivation to stay on my program. What has helped in the past was to remember my reasons to lose weight or what Judith Beck calls Advantages of losing weight. I guess I need to get back to my advantages and reasons for weight loss.

I am in a challenge in another team and one of our tasks is to find a small thing each day and show proof of it in a blog. For some reason I am having difficulty figuring out what motivates me. I am definitely motivated, but wanting some feedback from all of you. What motivates you?
