What works for me:

I have stopped eating junk food, caffeine, starch, sugar and all dairy (which doesn't agree with me anyway). I am now eating more fruits and vegetables and healthier snacks. When I buy items I take pride in reading the labels and I will not purchase anything if it has more than 5 grams of sugar per serving. This is working for me, I have totally stopped drinking energy drinks!!!!! I am now having green vibrance powder mix in the morning along with powder fiber, I just mix them together with almond milk and one packet of stevia for taste. I have lost 9 lbs so far and I have a long way to go. I just wanted to share with you what is working for me.

I have committed to exercising 3 days a week, it has been helpful and I am in brighter spirits. My clothes are starting to fit looser and I am curious to see how far I can go. I am down to eating carbs once a day, I no longer drink soda, I am being more aware of my portion sizes and I am getting my family more involved with being healthy.

Alright Darkness!!
I am seeing some movement on the scale and in my clothing! I am becoming way stronger and much more fit. My running is getting faster as well- which ROCKS especially because I'll hopefully be running the Nike Women's Half marathon in OCtober and want to beat my 2:23 time from my last Half- Would like to be much closer to 2 hours.. Also plan on running some local runs here. Maybe some 10K's..

I've been doing 45-60 minutes of my walk DVDs most days. Can't wait to get outside, but they are good until then.
