Who couldn't believe in miracles when you serve a God as great as ours? The Holy Spirit speaks to us on a daily basis. The trick is learning to rely on Him more than we do and having ears to hear and recognise His voice. If we would, we would see more miracles. We must recognise the voice of God better. He will teach you to if you are willing and miracles will follow all the time. I do not believe they are once in a while things.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Pil 4:13.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, constant in prayer. Rom 12:12

Hi Becky- Thank you for posting this. I had watched the video on Yahoo News the other day and, yes, I do believe in miracles. I have seen at least three in my own life in the last 2 years. The fact that my husband is still here is a miracle. Two years ago, on a Sunday, he wasn't feeling well and my son and I went to church that day with plans of going shopping afterwards. For some reason, I decided to go home first when church was over (which was not our original plan.) When I got there, I found my husband unconscious and I was unable to get him up. He was breathing but just barely. I called 911 while my son (then 24) kept trying to waken him. The ambulance took him to the hospital and just as they put him on the table in the ER, he stopped breathing. They were able to resusitate him and he spent 1 week in ICU and 2 more in the hospital. Why did I decide to go home? Some might call it "luck" but I know that isn't what it was: it was that small voice in my head telling me to go home. That small voice is the Holy Spirit. Jesus was sent by the Father to take on our sins and to teach and guide us. He left the Spirit and He continues to guide us - all we have to do is listen. God bless you. emoticon

Be a realistic optimist. Your attitude toward the future will help create your future. So, think realistically about yourself and your situation while making a conscious effort to focus on hopes, not fears. When you do, you'll put the self-fulfilling prophecy to work for you.

A Kanawha County woman who literally died and came back to life is making a miraculous recovery. Val Thomas is now out of bed and moving around, even though she had no brain waves for 17 1/2 hours.

"It's amazing how well I feel." said Thomas.

Val's ordeal began when her heart stopped at 1:30 a.m. in the morning at home Saturday. Doctors put Val on a special machine that induced hypothermia. Yet her heart stopped two more times while on the machine, she didn't have any brain activity and a ventilator breathed for her. In fact they needed to keep Val at a very cold state a good 24 hours, but that did not happen. She reached the right core temperature level 10 hours in and her son, Tim Thomas, decided to take her off life support just one hour later. Nurses say that is when the miracle happened. Val began to wiggle her toes and was breathing on her own.

Defying all odds she is now up walking around and is no longer using an oxygen tank. Val has not yet gone to Cleveland Clinic, she is currently waiting for a bed.
