Today it is Elisha's servant, whose eyes were opened, enabling him to go from fear to faith when he could finally focus on the great host of God's army who were battling on his behalf. Oh, God, give me eyes that see!!!

I will probably always choose someone different, but what comes to mind right now are some of the prophets: John the Baptist, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea. Wow, Hosea always amazes me. Because of his trust in G-d, and G-d's need to show Israel what they were doing, G-d asked Hosea to "Go and take to yourself an adulterous wife and children of unfaithfulness, because the land is guilty of the vilest adultery in departing from the L-rd." (Hosea 1:2) If you have never read Hosea, give it a read! It is short, and for me, I cannot put it down.

The prophets had a very difficult time in their service to G-d and the people of Israel, and yet, in their love for Him, they accepted the trials of prophet.

Bob, I'm with you. I love that Daniel was a man of holy habits. That is the desire of my heart, for God to build those holy, healthy habits within my life such that they are part of my nature.

I really admire Daniel. He was in a culture of unbelievers and held a position of responsibility. Yet, he did not compromise his faith.

I really admire Esther who was willing to risk her life to do what was right for an entire nation.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Pil 4:13.
