Another good thing about my church is...

THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD IS REALLY THERE AND THEY ARE SUCH A LOVEING CHURCH

Everyone's on fire for the Lord and we have a huge indoor gym with walking track, cardio theater and 3 rooms of weights/weight machines - free and open to the public.

Lots of small groups and they are really connected with each other

... the new intercessory prayer group meeting weekly to pray over the needs submitted to the church.

There are tons of men at our church. They pray together before dawn 5 days a week.

... that our active members are very much involved in each other's lives other than at church services. That adds such a sweet measure of richness to the relationships!

We serve an AWESOME GOD!

That is wonderful. We hav two pastors that are middle aged, but both have been there since the beginning of their ministries. They are dynamic, what one lacks the other has. Isn't God wonderful?

Our Pastors - they are young, energetic and fired up for Christ and winning souls for Him.

They care about those in jail and prison.

The church I attend is a church with a mission to reach everyone it can across the street or around the world.

... the way we help those in need. We blessed a family who were in serious need of a ramp over the last two weekends, moving one in last weekend and installing it this weekend. What a blessed labor of love! Practical helps is truly a spiritual gift!

Bible study is Awesome!!!

We welcome visiting groups (Service clubs, sports clubs, etc.) and invite them to participate in the worship service.

Praise and worship is AMAZING!!

When there is a problem we partner up for prayer against the enemy.

My church has a 'Share A Meal' program, where once weekly a hot meal is distributed to some 'shut-ins', that is, persons who are housebound. We also prepare and distribute Christmas baskets to the needy in our community.

... that we were asked to prepare an Easter basket for a "little old lady" to bring Easter morning. In the service, one of our elderly widows was called up to the front and all of us who brought baskets went forward to hug and kiss on this dear, dear saint of God and present them to her. To see the creativity and wide variety of things people filled their lovely baskets with was something to behold. I love being part of a church that gives, gives, gives. That is SO much the heart of God!

We run a food pantry that feeds the needy.

We are concerned about others, including our medical missions to Haiti, our support and missions to the deaf school there (deaf children are throw away children there since they are thought of being like animals), our youth group mission with Amor Ministries to build a house for a poor family in Mexico every year.

The Holy Spirit is invited and welcome to change the order of things, to move at His will, setting aside the plans of man for a better way, preferring a relationship with our holy God over all religious rituals or dogma.

We're known as a friendly church - we strive to be sure NOBODY visits without at least one (or two, or a dozen) 'touches' by members.

We are a body of believers that truly functions as a family. Through the ups and downs, good and bad things. We stick together and love each other.
