Chevy Chase is a comedic actor who is best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live and his starring roles in the films Caddyshack (1980), National Lampoon's Vacation (1983), and Fletch (1985). Chevy Chase was born Cornelius Crane Chase in New York City. Chase was named for his adoptive grandfather Cornelius Vanderbilt Crane, while the nickname "Chevy" was bestowed by his grandmother, derived from the medieval English ballad "The Ballad of Chevy Chase". As a descendant of the Scottish Clan Douglas, the name seemed appropriate to her.

The rock band Metallica achieved a Guinness World Records title after becoming the first musical act to play a concert on all seven continents. Metallica actually performed on all seven continents in a calendar year, following tour dates in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica in 2013. The band set the record in a transparent dome at Carlini Station in Antarctica. Unlike regular Metallica gigs, the Antarctica concert was held without amplification due to the icy continent's fragile environment. Instead each song was transmitted live to the audience through headphones.

Charlie Brown is the principal character of the comic strip Peanuts. Depicted as a "lovable loser,” Charlie Brown has been hailed as one of the best cartoon characters of all time. He is easily recognized by his trademark zigzag patterned shirt. He made his official debut in the first Peanuts comic strip on October 2, 1950. On December 21 of the same year, his signature zig-zag pattern appeared on his formerly plain T-shirt. In the animated TV specials, his shirt is colored a deep yellow. In the past, his shirt was colored red in the Sunday comic strips but it now appears as yellow in all media.

Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. The term "Cyber Monday" was invented by a marketing team at Shop.org, a division of the National Retail Federation. The term made its debut on November 28, 2005 in a Shop.org press release entitled Cyber Monday Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year”. According to Scott Silverman, the head of Shop.org, the idea was to provide online retailers with a catchy hook to match the brick-and-mortar shopping frenzy fueled by mention of Black Friday savings.

The Andy Griffith Museum is dedicated to the life and career of actor, television producer, and singer Andy Griffith. The museum, which houses the world's largest collection of Andy Griffith memorabilia, is located in Griffith's hometown of Mount Airy, North Carolina. Much of the museum's collection was acquired by Griffith's friend and the founder of Andy Griffith Museum, Emmett Forrest. A large portion of the museum includes pieces from the sets of The Andy Griffith Show, which aired from 1960 to 1968, and the Matlock television series. The 2,500-square-foot museum is adjacent to the Andy Griffith Playhouse.

Do you know who Robyn Fenty is? No? How about Robyn Rihanna Fenty? There are plenty of celebrities who have simply dropped their given first names and instead chosen to use their middle names, and you probably didn't even realize it! Rihanna, Brad Pitt, Ashton Kutcher, and Bruce Willis are just a few. Did you know Bruce Willis' full name is Walter Bruce Willis? Ashton Kutcher's first name isn't actually Ashton, it's Christopher. Brad Pitt goes by his middle name, too. The actor’s full name is William Bradley Pitt.

While a British rock band made his name famous nearly 300 years after his birth, Jethro Tull (1664 – 1741) was renowned in his own right as an agricultural pioneer and the inventor of the seed drill, the horse drawn hoe, and an improved plough, all major developments in the agricultural revolution. Tull's methods helped to provide the basis for modern agriculture. The progressive rock band Jethro Tull took their name after the 18th century agriculturalist. The name proved to be popular and memorable, and it stuck.

Remember when you were a child and spoke by making your “R’s” sound like “W’s” and everyone thought it was cute? That’s known as rhotacism and some people live with it even as adults. Rhotacism is a speech impediment that is defined by the lack of ability, or difficulty in, pronouncing the “R” sound. In English, the most common occurrence of this type is a pronunciation perceived as closer to “W”. An example of rhotacism would be Elmer Fudd’s pronunciation of "rabbit" as "wabbit". The Looney Tunes character, is notorious for his exaggerated rhotacistic speech ("Be vewwy quiet… I'm hunting wabbits")

Fireworks are as American as the National Anthem, baseball and apple pie, right? Think again. Fireworks actually were invented in China, thousands of years ago. Most often credited with the invention of firecrackers - is a Chinese monk called Li Tian who stuffed bamboo with a saltpeter-based gunpowder and launched it into a fire. He was from the city of Liuyang in Hunan Province, China. This area is still to this day the largest producer of fireworks anywhere in the world. During the Song Dynasty, a temple was built to worship Li Tian and the people of China still celebrate the invention of the firecracker every April 18th by offering sacrifices to Li Tian and setting off fireworks.

Over two decades ago, a parlor game called "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" became an unlikely grass-roots phenomenon among movie buffs. The game, requires players to link celebrities to Kevin Bacon, in as few steps as possible, via the movies they have in common. The Kevin Bacon game is based on a theory called six degrees of separation, the notion that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart. In 2007 Bacon launched SixDegrees.org, a charitable organization that connects celebrities with good causes for fundraising purposes.

The Ramones were a punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens in 1974. They are often cited as the first true punk rock group. All of the band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", although none of them were biologically related. They performed 2,263 concerts, touring virtually nonstop for 22 years. In 1996, the band disbanded. By 2014, all four of the band's original members had died – lead singer Joey Ramone (1951–2001), bass guitarist Dee Dee Ramone (1951–2002), guitarist Johnny Ramone (1948–2004) and drummer Tommy Ramone (1949–2014).

That is the correct answer!!

Unlike the seven men who preceded him in the White House, Martin Van Buren was the first president to be born a citizen of the United States and not a British subject. He was born in a Dutch dominated village of Kinderhook in New York State. He was raised speaking Dutch and learned English at school, making him the only U.S. president who spoke English as a second language. Standing just 5 feet 6 inches tall, the “Little Magician” was elected Vice President on the Jacksonian ticket in 1832, and won the Presidency in 1836.

In 1973, Burt Reynolds recorded a country music album called Ask Me What I Am. The album was recorded in just two days, and came with a large detachable poster of Burt in a snazzy blue polyester leisure suit and white cowboy boots. Despite songwriting contributions from Bobby Goldsboro, Red Lane, Ed Bruce and Dick Feller, the album was a commercial failure. Still Reynolds pressed on, recording a song called "Let's Do Something Cheap and Superficial" for the Smokey and the Bandits II soundtrack. The song peaked on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at No. 51 in November 1980.
