I was looking at another BL site--I think it may have been the FB for SP and practically everybody had the same thing to say about the language. Those with children were especially unhappy about it. There was NOT one person who said--it is okay. They either complained or didn't comment about it. But like someone else commented, the sghow has all been recorded already, so it is doubtful it will change because of viewers opinions. Several said, they understood being tough on them at the beginning, so they don't give up on themselves and realize that they CAN do it, but that can be done WITHOUT the language. Jillian has always had a mouth, but Bob was just as bad. Hopefully, they calm down... I personally would NOT do well with somebody swearing at me and there is a youth pastor, and Dan plans to become a youth paster, so at LEAST 2 Christians contestants, who I'm sure do NOT appreciate it. Many yrs. ago my hubby worked for a go who cussed at his employee's all the time, but he at least had enough to refrain when talking to Jon, because he knew Jon was a minister (at the time), so called him Brother Jon & refrained if speaking TO him, but still continued towards others, even in Jon's presence--but that is ONE of the reason's Jon quit the job--couldn't work with someone like that. So, all that to say, I'm in total aggreement with you Rebecca.

The show itself was pretty good. I am however going to fuss about two things.

1. The cursing is just ridiculous. Somebody needs to wash out mouths and teach vocabulary. Our boys love the show and I had to remind them that the words they heard are not acceptable language.

2. The previews basically gave away the entire show. You know what color people would be wearing. You new Daniel was in the limo. You knew Shay would weigh 476 pounds. You knew Abby's story. You knew pretty much everything major on the show if you saw the first 2 minutes. As our 11YO son put it, "why not just say here's what's going to happen - now you can skip the show".

That said, I will be watching and hoping for the contestants to stay as reasonable as they currently seem to be.

LOVED last night's premiere! I typically have one or two that "rub me the wrong way" right off the bat, but this time, I like everyone - I found everyone to be optimistic and positive - although Andrea (or whatever her name was) seemed negative at weigh in, so I was a little happy that she was the one that got sent home. I, too, wish ALL of them had more time to learn about proper nutrition and exercise before having to go home - my opinion is one month of being on the ranch before "the game begins", as it must be such a disappointment to finally get on the show (which is quite difficult), only to be sent home within days. Can't wait till next week. Oh, and Abby had me holding the Kleenex part of the evening, along with some of the other's stories.

I was definitely teary for a lot of the show. Abby's story really hit me. And I was surprised how upbeat and optimistic she seems to be. Like Jillian said it makes you realize you can be stronger.
As for Alexandra leaving, it didn't bother me. In the beginning it usually doesn't. It's easier to see someone go when you really didn't know much about them anyway. And if Julio really laid around during the workouts as much as they made it look like he did, I might have been disappointed in his efforts too. JMO

Oh my goodness, I had the sniffles off and on all during the show and not from allergies either. LOL. I thought that was really cool when they banded together at the beginning of the show to help Tracy across the finish line at the beach. I do not have a fav yet but Dan, Abby, and Shea really touched me. It will be a great season and I look forward to seeing the transformations.

Loved the show. I like how they started off this season not knowing each other. I thought this show was a tear jerker and could so relate to so many of their stories. Glad that Danny is back and so proud of him to pick who he did as a partner.

I also agree with Vicki would be nice if they all got at least a week on the ranch before being voted off. Curious to find out who Andrea had a crush on.

No favorite yet.

I missed the first 15 minutes or so and I didn't get to see them getting together or talking about why they were there. I started watching when they were at the beach and Daniel just come in. I liked everyone or maybe everyone is on their best behavior. I love the part where they wont have a certain trainer because I believe that they both can give something different to them to take home with. Boy was there alot of cursing! I was alittle shocked by Bob, he was sounding more like Jillian than ever. When they were weighing in I did not like Andrea's attitude. She should not have expected more from her partner than she was willing to put out. When she did that my husband said "We have another a**whole". And he was glad she got voted off. But we both agreed with Vicki in we wish the players got more than one week on the ranch before they started voting people off.

I can't believe I'm the 1st to comment here. Since the show broadcasts at 8 Pacific Time at home and that is 5 AM here in Germany, I had to wait about 4 hours before I could watch it. As I could tell from the previews it was quite a tear jerker. And I love them all at this point and didn't want to see any of them go home. I really wish they would let them go a week without eliminations...either that or send the 1st few players to be eliminated to a group place for awhile, where they could get some training too. Everybody deserves a chance to experience a little more training before having to go home.
