I love the Yoga on the Wii Fit Plus. The Warrior is my favorite.

Yoga is tough!!! There are a number of the poses that I can't even do... I'm too unbalanced. I do okay on the half moon (man does that work your core), and the sun salutation. I could not stay balanced for the tree. I'll keep trying.

I really starting do the yoga after my husband got me EA Sports Active More Games for Christmas. The warm-up and cool down are always the same and I tired of it real quick. So now I use my Wii fit to warm up and cool down. Several years ago I did a 12-week program with a personal trainer and she always used yoga for a cool down. So, I decided to try using the yoga on Wii fit and I love it.

There are some poses I can do that I have as favorites, but those like the half moon, I can't even get over sideways all the way before putting my hands down...I just put my hands on my hips and go over...lol

Who have you encouraged today?

I felt like it was a long time too when I first started, it's really not...it just takes time to get used to and then you're like "wow, that was fast!"

I just tried it this morning (have had my Wii for two weeks). I like it, but it's hard. They have you really holding poses for a long time! I will stick with it, however.

Life is what you make it. Why not choose to be happy?

I had went to a couple of yoga classes before but couldn't get into it (ADD and yoga class do not mix LOL)!

Then came Wii Fit yoga and BAM, I loved it! It's my warmup (now that I have Plus and can custom my program it's even better!) and now I do 10 minutes of yoga during the day even when not near the Wii!

I used to do Yoga many years ago, but with kids, etc. I stopped doing any kind of exercise. I started the Wii Yoga the other day...I love it.

I rediscovered yoga with the Wii. It had been years since I did any of it and am happy to now incorporate a few poses into my daily workout. There are a few of them that I like to use as a stretch after doing the stepping or running.

Yep! Always heard of it and always thought it was something that was done in the 70s!

I have fallen in love with it myself; in fact today's workout was mostly the yoga and strength training. Like you, I've become more conscious about the deep breathing and find myself doing that more, especially on my commutes to work and home.

Who have you encouraged today?

I can't say that I have tried the yoga yet. Sounds like you had fun doing it and that's the most important thing since you will keep doing something that is fun and you enjoy.

May need to look at it over the weekend.

Thanks for sharing - Linda

I have never really done yoga before, honestly never such much point, like how much of a workout is that? But I have to say, after two nights, I am finding I am really enjoying it. Last night I spent 45 with my almost-12 yr old daughter doing the yoga poses. I find that even after 2 nights, I am more conscious of my breathing, of relaxing and the stretching is just DIVINE! Anyone else discovering yoga for the first time?
