I've never heard of that...I will have to check it out!

Thanks!

My friend has been raving about flaxseed oil, for those who might have dry skin due to a low fat diet. I think Im going to try it out.

I have an aloe plant that I use. Each night I use a small cutting and rub it on my face. It really makes your skin glow. I sleep with it on. I don't wash it off until morning.

I also use Artistry skin care, which you can get from Quickstar representatives. I LOVE their skin products! They rock. If you get a chance to have a home demo party, go for it! The products are expensive, but really concentrated so they last a long time. In the end it is really good value for your money.

I liked a lot of the other suggestions too, so my thanks as well.

Plan to succeed. If you really want to win, you have to have a plan and stick to it. You also have to be able to adapt your plan and keep it dynamic. Gotta have a PLAN.

I had the same problem until I changed my face lotion. I now use Philosophy Hope in a Jar (although I'm not too fond of the smell - it is FABULOUS!). My skin is so soft and has a natural glow. I have also used their Hope in a Tube (for eyes) - it is really thick a creamy, but not greasy.

For my body, I use Johnson & Johnson's baby oil body wash...it's not greasy and keeps my skin very soft (I wanted something that wouldn't make my skin dry if I didn't have time to put on lotion after my shower)...this stuff is perfect! Also, for my elbows and legs (when I have time) I use Burt's Bees Baby Bee vitamin E oil - it's miraculous and doesn't stain clothes if I have to get dressed right away!

Not sure if these suggestions help, but it's the stuff I use and it really works for me, but all of our skin is going to react differently to products.

-try taking fish oil pills
-create a scrub from brown sugar and olive oil (approx 2:1) .. this is my ultimate beauty secret .. the brown sugar exfoliates away dead skin and the olive oil makes the skin soft and supple without being too oily
-drink plenty of water
-bio-oil works very well .. try using it morning and night to hydrate the skin

I actually used Benzaclin myself for MANY years...my doctor as of lately seemed hesitant about refilling my prescription for it (even though it worked like a charm!), plus I wanted to go off of it because it was getting pricey, and for other reasons. I started using AcneFree, which is comparable to and cheaper than ProActiv. I really do like it! But my skin as been so dry lately. I'd like to find a way to keep my skin moisturized without causing breakouts.

GREAT QUESTION ROXY! I would like to know the answer to this question too . . . Im drinking like 10 glasses of water a day . . . I use Benzaclin (which is for acne) and Mary Kay lotion (can't remember what it is called but it is a hydrating moisturizer - purple) . . . and my face still feels dry . . . I get at least 8 hours of sleep . . . I wash my face with cetaphil . . . and I totally understand that it still isn't enough . . . i just look blah . . . any suggestions for both Roxy and I?

Hey ladies! I've asked a similar question recently, but this one's a little different. I've been tired and under a good deal of stress lately with work and grad school, and I can feel and see it in my skin, especially my face! I've also been using some acne products that work, but dry out my face.

How can I add luster and softness back into my skin? I'm sure getting more sleep and drinking more water will help, but any other good tips will be immensely appreciated! :)

Thanks lovelies! :)
