Tonight I was exhausted and work used every brain cell I had! This week has been tough. I MADE myself get on the treadmill and did 40 minutes cardio mixed incline and speed followed by yoga 20 minutes. I feel so much better. Dang I wish I had made myself exercise on Monday and Tuesday instead of allowing work to suck my mind DRY!
Will I EVER learn!

Still not feeling the best so declared today another day of rest.
Took the dogs for a wonderful walk at dusk in the rain, would probably still have been walking but they stood blocking the path so I had to wake up and take notice.

30 minutes of bush walking. emoticon

I was only able to fit in a short walk today but I did shop for at least three hours and then come home and cook dinner and clean up which is a little more active than average for me. Tomorrow I will make structured exercise a priority.

And remember, always warm up and cool down. Warming up at a slow pace will help prepare your joints, muscles and heart for exercise. Cooling down will prepare your body to return to a resting state, help prevent muscle soreness, and prevent illness and injury.

Beginner Interval Program

Warm up 5 minutes

Walk briskly 1 minute
Walk at a moderate pace 2 minutes
Walk as fast as possible 1 minute
Walk slowly 2 minutes
Walk briskly 1 minute
Walk at a moderate pace 2 minutes
Walk as fast as possible 1 minute
Walk slowly 2 minutes

Cool down 5 minutes

Total Workout Time: 22 minutes
