I didn't even know about this challenge until just now and I did it! I was in bed at midnight (roughly) and didn't wake up until 825. Then, after brunch, I napped for about 30-45 minutes. Went out and did a little shopping, which apparantly wore me out cuz when I got home, I laid down on the couch while waiting for my son to finish dishes. I slept for a few hours. HOURS!!!

So...yeah!!! I completed the challenge!!!

Shan- have a great trip- that is such a fun place- of course I'm partial to upstate New York- love that part of the state

I have a dreadful time with sleep- I usually get 6.5 hr and I try for longer, but it never really happens- I seem to be very light sensitive and if I'm sleepy and I don't go right to bed I'm up until 2 AM trying to sleep- if I take 1/2 benedryl I can get to sleep but I'm sleepy during the next day- I did get 7.5 last night- but was at a party until 10 and needed to go to sleep them- anyone else have problems with this???

emoticon I went to bed last night or I should say this morning at 1:30 am. I woke up at 7:45 am. I tried to wake up DH, Pat, for church, but then I fell asleep. We slept until noon. We will be going back to bed at 9:00 pm. Have a great time in New York. I've never been there but MIL was born and raised there. Pat went for grandpa's funeral in '95. MIL lives in Wyoming.

I went to bed early last night--exhausted from the 10 mile walk yesterday. I did not set the alarm and slept in until 6:35, almost an hour later than my usual wake-up time.

I know you're gonna have a fantastic time! Walking up the stairs in the Statue of Liberty definitely qualifies as a workout for the day.

Sleep is an ongoing problem for me - not lack of time/opportunity, just my body refusing to cooperate. I do have meds my doctor prescribed, but don't like taking them, so keep trying all the conventional routes.

Are you getting enough sleep each night? Did you know that researchers are finding that lack of sleep contributes to weight gain? When your body is living on less sleep then it needs, it asks for energy. We might not be able to give our bodies that extra rest, but we can feed it for the energy. What does that mean to you? A road-block between you and your goal weight.
