Yesterday I played golf in the heat, carried my clubs. It took us about 2.5 hours. It was a great change of pace.

I didn't do my 60 minutes, Sunday's are hard for me but on Saturday I walked 7 1/2 miles that's a record for me, I did however feel guilty so Sunday about 7:30 went for a 30 minute walk, I will do the 60 minutes today as well as today's challenge, when I see that one post. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Donna

I haven't been around lately, but a new week - new start :-)
I was going to start with today's challenge (Monday), but realized I actually did Sunday's challenge - did 60 minutes on the elliptical yesterday!
Good start to the week! :-)

Well, I thought that this would be easy, except that they closed the local pool due to the chlorine being too high. By the time I found out about this, it was too late to decide on anything else, so I did my usual 2 mile walk tonight but upped it by .2 of a mile...but I only got 39 minutes in. Oh well, I guess there's always tomorrow :)

Okay - that was a challenge! I haven't been very successful at motivating myself to exercise on a regular basis yet. Seems I can concentrate on eating or exercise but haven't had a sustained period of getting both right! But... today's challenge got me out for a half hour walk in the afternoon and tonight the whole family went walking/jogging even though it's extemely hot here. Thanks for the push!!

I treaded water for an hour! I was in the water and being social, so I just went out a little deeper, chatted, and treaded water. I made it more difficult by keeping my shoulders above water for 15 minutes, my hands out of the water for five, etc. I also went water skiing!

I rode my bike to Curves this morning. So, 16 minutes there, 30 minutes at Curves, and 20 minutes back (I took the long route home). 66 minutes. Maybe a walk tonight, too, if it cools down a little.

Did a 30 minute walk first thing this morning. Will finish off with a swim once we hit the lake later this afternoon.

Thanks for the motivator!

Sorry, I won't make this one today. Sunday is a rest day for me....not much exercise. I did walk for 25 minutes but that will be it. It is definitely too hot outside for me and I'm not going to the gym today either. Good luck to the rest of you though!

I did a 55 minute video...about 40 mins straight aerobics and the rest strength training. Pretty good for a rest day! emoticon

This one I'll have to make up for tomorrow. Sunday is my one off day; and that's because it's dog training day. I still get some exercise, but not really a cardio workout.

Good luck to the rest of you today, especially if it's hot where you are.

Unfortunately I'm still sick so unless I feel up to taking a long walk I probably won't be doing this one today. Cardio wouldn't be a good idea considering I still can't eat anything more solid than cottage cheese..... I'll be back in as soon as I"m better though.

Hi Shan, this is a much needed challenge for me. Thankyou!! I have been neglecting my cardio.... not neglecting as such, but I have'nt done justice to myself. It has been raining intermittently,EXCUSES! EXCUSES! It isn't raining that heavily. The most I have put in is 30 min and one day as less as 15min! Then I try to do '2 to 3 minutes spurts' of walking inside the house every half hour. All the best to 'myself', for this one!!!!!!!! And do I need it? emoticon emoticon [he is the one who slept in the middle of the race!]

I'll do it! I'm spending the day at the lake today, and I generally do 30-45 minutes of swimming, but thanks for the push to do 60 today!

Hey, this is good. On a Sunday I normally walk to church but today I had to walk back as well (the person who normally gives me a lift was unable to do so today). Total amount of time spent walking = 60 mins. Challenge completed before I logged on to find out what it was!!

Sounds good except I'm going to be spending 13+ hours in an airplane today so doubt I'll make this one.

Get in 60 min. of cardio day! Try to go outside (early or late to beat the heat if you can). Swimming is a great way to stay cool and get in cardio! Enjoy your Sunday!
