I was just thinking about getting a pair as well but more for my back and sore feet than to tone and actually work out. I asked a nurse at the hospital about them when I noticed him wearing them, and he said he liked them and a few other hospital workers were wearing them. He said they do make a difference if you are on your feet alot or have a job that isn't just sitting behind a desk. If nothing else, they will be another pair of shoes in my closet to choose from I guess.

Here's an interesting article on what the experts think about these shoes: http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/08/12/shoes

I think I would try the Reebok EasyTone sneakers maybe instead, which sound like they do the same thing. They are only about $100 and have gotten some good reviews on amazon.

I really would like a pair of these myself. I don't walk too much but I do take the bus the work so I guess that would be more walking than if I drove myself to work. I checked out the price on the skecher brand and they should only be around $120. The original "shape-up" shoe I think is the MTB (or is it MBT?) and those do cost up towards $300.

I am curious to see who else has these shoes to see what they think.

I have some, they do make your legs work a bit harder, if you walk a lot, maybe to work every day it's worth it but as I don't have that opportunity I think I'd rather have spent my money on some new running shoes.

Has anyone tried these sneakers? Are they worth the money? I was going to buy a pair for my sister for her birthday but her co-worker said they are $300 a pair. Are they worth that much?
