I met 4 out of my 5 goals

I started a P90X program this week, that added a lot of strength training and total fitness minutes
I think it is an awesome program, mixes up strength training and cardio and does a lot of stretching

Wow, I really slacked off this week on exercise. I finished less than fifty percent of my goal. And darn, this is a "no excuses" team so I cannot even offer up any weak justifications!

My goal this week is actually about getting some rest and recovery. I think 2 months of extreme busyness and stress hasn't done any good for those internal systems. My goals are:
- get a hair cut and a pedicure (have gift cert! YAY)
- make a massage therapy appt for shoulders and a corresponding epsom salt bath later at home
- do at least two sessions in the sauna (at new gym!)
- spend at least two sessions doing proper stretching and mobility exercise - esp shoulders and hips
- Rowing - 2x5 min workout and try a 3x5 min workout
- other cardio minutes but no interval trg this week
- learn some 2-3 new ST exercises
- keep working on pushups.

Monday - 10min cardio warmup, ST, lots of stretching and recovery and sauna time!
Tues - ST, cardio, massage appt!
Wed - treadmill, rowing machine, stretching and sauna time! Also hair appt.
Friday - hike with dog - and breakfast out with a friend!
Saturday - 5K race (mostly walked) with my DD :D

I'm aiming for 200 minutes of exercise this week. i'm trying to be realistic, while not allowing myself to slack in the fitness minutes. I've got revival, but I think 200 minutes is a good balance this week for me.

My fitness exercises will consist of walking with and without weights, strength training, wii just dance and various other cardio dvds.

Sunday, May 2 15 min. with 5 lb. weights
Monday, May 3
Tuesday, May 4 20 min. with 5 lb. weights
Wednesday, May 5 40 min. 1/2 w/5 lb. weights
Thursday, May 6
Friday, May 7 10 min. walk
Saturday, May 8 30min walk w/5 lb. weights, may not be finished for the day yet.
sat. pm... 20 min. walk w/5 lb. weights

135 minutes total...very shy of my 200 min. goal, but will do better next week!

we can do this, girls! deb
