Low fat cottage chees with tomato slices, add cucumber slices in vinegar and a piece of lowfat wheat toast. Works for me.

Can of tuna, small amount of yogurt salad dressing in place of mayo. 5 Ak Mak crackers. Couple of baby carrots and a small apple. Big glass of water.
This tends to be my summer lunch.
Soup would be a cooler weather lunch.

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

I am a little monotonous but I do look forward to my turkey sandwich with provolone cheese, lettuce, and mustard daily. I know I should add some tomatoes but I am not that big on them - I will eat them in hamburgers! And I have some plums today. I also have been taking some powdered supplements and turn them into a smoothie with banana and pineapple in them. So good in the summer with lots of crushed ice. Hope everyone is having a cool day. I am inside as it is 105 in Texas!

I am having a portion of the antipasta salad i got last night with the subs. I love antipasta salad cause i can add things to it like olives green and black mushrooms. Next week i am going to try to add some fruit to it....yum yum.... emoticon

Because of this heat I have been having salads with cut up peaches, plums, grapes, etc. with some balsamic vinegar. I even add some red onion. I had never eaten salad with fruit before and found that I like it. I think that is my problem - I like everything I taste-LOL emoticon emoticon emoticon

LOL!

I just think it's one of those mysteries. I've had weeks like you, where I've stayed pretty much or on track and not lost and had weeks where I've had a huge binge (I know you know what I'm talking about:) and lost! Go figure!

Lunch is the hardest meal for me.

Now I'll be serious:-)...I weighed today and wasn't happy with the result-only 3/4 pound when I'd worked HARD-so I slipped off a bit.
I'll be anxious to see what people ARE doing for lunches...I just usually do the "typical"---a sandwich with lean, thin sliced turkey or ham and LOADS of YUMMY veggies and a luscious fruit.
Or a Healthy Choice meal which isn't the very best cuz of the sodium.
And of course yummy salads....
Ni-night for this time...S
